Skiadas and Skiadas edit this multidisciplinary volume on applications of chaos theory to various natural sciences and even humanities topics. Section I discusses nonlinear dynamics, including the intermittency route to chaos, evolutionary and deterministic chaos, and phase synchronization as well as example systems. Section II presents contributions relating to strange, self-exciting and hidden attractors and bifurcation. Section III offers equations for analysis of chaotic data in a variety of contexts. Sections IV through XII offer smaller selections of chapters pertaining to narrower fields, including plasma harmonics, turbulent fluid dynamics, quantum theory, optics, biology and medicine, mechanics, pattern recognition, economics, psychology, linguistics, and music.
