Q: Are these stands assemled?

A:Â I've been assembling my own furniture since 1989. This is, by far, has the worst assembly instructions of any piece I've done. The pictures don't match what you're supposed to do and nothing is clear. I normally can put together a nightstand in an hour. I'm going on 4 and I'm not done yet, might have to take some parts off and re-assemble the other way (since the directions are messed up) and I may ultimately give up and ship it back.

I've been assembling my own furniture for over 3 decades. Never have I had any problems. This nightstand is a nightmare putting together. The diagrams are tiny and the pictures are wrong half the time. I have to re-interpret each step, based on what I know from past assemblies because the instructions and pictures are deceptive. So sad I didn't buy the Sauder 2-drawer nightstand at Walmart.com. Other furniture I bought from Target has also been a pain to assemble. I'll stick with Sauder, Ikea and Dorel Home Products in the future.
