A: The Harbor View Entertainment Credenza with Louvered Doors is made of an environmentally friendly material called “engineered wood.” It’s a combination of high-quality hard wood and soft wood residuals of other lumber processes. These components are bonded together with a synthetic resin and then applied to high heat and pressure. The result is a dense, strong panel that is laminated and cut into pieces.

I purchased this unit to replace two rolling desks for my home office. The assembly process was incredibly straightforward due to the exceptionally precise instructions that were included. My husband and I also enjoyed the humorous messages included in the assembly instructions (for example, Remember: Righty tighty. Lefty loosey. ) We're still chuckling several days later. I love how the unit looks in my office - it finishes the space and makes it look even more professional than it did previously. This is my second purchase of a Sauder product (entertainment center in the mid-1990s). I'm even more satisfied with this product!

The item arrived promptly, and securely packaged from the manufacturer, although the product was very heavy. We unpacked it inside the front door and carried the pieces to the room where assembly would take place. It arrived in perfect condition, with all the required hardware present. I have assembled many furniture ""kits"" in the past, but I must say this one was the best. Sauder obviously cares about its customers because they took a great deal of time preparing a ""how to assemble booklet"" that was included with the kit. It was clearly written in English, Spanish and French and included diagrams and pictures of each piece of hardware, as well as step by step instructions. It also included important safety information. And the company is located in Ohio. Very impressive! For me, the trickiest thing was hanging the doors, which was accomplished with a little persistence on my part. We will enjoy using this piece as a TV stand in our home for many years. Hats off to you, Sauder!
