ABOUT HARRY’S
Harry’s started in 2013. Our founders, Jeff and Andy, were tired of overpaying for razors, so they launched Harry’s to offer quality razors for men at honest prices. Since then, we’ve evolved into a men’s grooming company that makes men’s razors and blades and a variety of men’s grooming products, including shaving cream, body wash and bar soap for men, and men’s hair-styling and hair care products. Rather than overdesign or overcharge, we prioritize quality craftsmanship, simple design, and fair value for men’s grooming essentials. Through our social mission, we also give back: We believe in better access to mental health care, so we donate 1% of our sales to nonprofits that provide these services to men in need.

Rusty Blades

The shave isn't anything too exciting but the real reason for such a low rating is that the razor blade rusted in less than a week. Searching again for a new razor.

I purchased this with my roommate, we both bought the exact same one. I’ll speak for both of us in saying this is the worst razor i’ve ever used. I have never gotten ingrown hairs or razor burn, but literally the first shave and i’m paying for it. Thankfully this was only a $10 mistake.

I bought this razor for myself. I like mens razors over womans.. It does NOT cut well. Its very hit or miss and you have to use the right angle or it will SNAG your skin. If I still had the box I would of returned this awful thing! I would still recommend this to others, it just did not work well for me. Shaving my under arms takes 3-4 strokes and forget the legs. It snagged and cut me so much. I gave up!

Not Worth It - Spend $5 more dollars to get higher quality

Not worth the price - I thought it would be just as good a Gillette but at a lower price. Nope! I would rather pay $5 more for a quality razor than spend less and get a terrible shave.

I bought these originally when you had to order them online. Was not impressed. Poor shave, tugging at whiskers, mild razor burn/irritation. A while later they show up at Target, so I figured I’d give it another go. Maybe they’d corrected some defects over time. Nope. Still a harsh shave. I was looking for a cheaper substitute for Gillette Mach 3, which Harry’s really isn’t these days. Do yourself a favor and stick with Gillette or try a quality DE razor.

Yes, they’re much cheaper than the other major brands, but you get what you pay for. Out of the box, they’re not nearly as sharp. The head is also large and clumsy so it’s hard to be precise. The biggest problem is the blades rust extremely quickly. I’m not a very hairy guy so razors usually take a long time to dull on me. With these, the blades begin to rust after only a few weeks. It’s a game of chicken with tetanus that determines when I change the blade not their sharpness. I used up the four pack of cartridges I had then went back and bought another brand’s more expensive razor. If you’re traveling and forgot your good razor at home, 100%, buy one of these. Rust won’t be a problem on a short timeframe and though they’re not as sharp as the big brands, they’ll do for a few days. As a daily driver, just pony up for a better razor.
