A: Many of our products require WiFi. If you don’t have reliable WiFi or no WiFi at all, we recommend checking into Rest Go. Rest Go doesn't require WiFi and isn't controlled via an app.

I’ve had a hard time getting it to connect to my app if I unplug it to move it, but I have always been able to do it eventually and it works well! My kids can’t sleep without it! The hatch has been pivotal for our family :)

I have tried numerous times to set this hatch up and it won’t complete the final steps. I read online it has to do with it needing to be on 2.4G internet, which is impossible due to our internet configuration. I don’t understand how our first gen hatch can work with no issues but this 2nd gen wont. Just look up Reddit… so many people have the same issue. So disappointing.

I used to love the first gen hatch. I recommended it to everyone and always bought them as gifts. Recently our hatch failed so I got the second gen. It is HORRIBLE! The app is so clunky and the UX is brutal. It also turns off randomly in the middle of the night, waking our kids up. Usually second generations are way better, but this version is terrible.

We had a first generation hatch and it worked great, so when we had more kids we bought this one. It’s a completely different product. When I contacted customer service they said I’d probably prefer their travel sound machine. - it’s glitchy - the toddler lock doesn’t work for the light (customer service said it was so you can adjust the light during newborn feedings, etc. without looking at your phone, but my newborn oddly didn’t require a toddler lock) - advertised their subscription all the time - takes quite a long time to load - if you take anywhere besides your house you have to connect it manually to WiFi which often take upwards of twenty minute, if it works. It was a hassle. I probably would have enjoyed their travel one better, presuming that one worked. Their first generation was perfect, I suspect they ruined it to make money off a subscription.

We had a first gen Hatch and loved it, but had to return it due to a wiring issue. They sent us a gen 2 and it’s crap. We’ve had it for like 2 months and now it won’t stay on longer than 20 mins. Don’t waste your money.

Love the hatch. Not as easy as the older version, takes a little more to forgive it out. However, that does mean more benefits from it as well. I do wish the volume were louder like the older version. Our house is loud so we put machines outside of the bedrooms and need a little more volume.

Personal don’t care for it. The first hatch we had was wonderful Could press the top and it go right to the one I wanted This one is aggravating and never works properly. I can not get it to preset the one we use or remove the clock feature. The sounds are so different from the original and it took some getting used to. Overall I believe I paid 10$ less 2.5 years later for the second generation but if I had the opportunity and could find the original one I’d pay more for it.

The first night we used this with my 2 year old (26 months) he slept in until 7 am. We had been working through early morning wake ups of 6:20-6:45 am for a couple months, so I decided to try the hatch out. I’m a sleep consultant, so I want to qualify this review that we’ve done all the things to support my 2 year old, and the hatch green light for a morning wake up cue was icing on the cake. I don’t want a parent to read this who is dealing with early morning wakings and assume a green light morning wake up light will solve all your little one’s sleep problems. It did for us because we were already doing all the things to work on early morning wakings (being mindful of total wake time, nap length, nap timing, sleep environment, communication with our 2 year old, etc,). This light can support toddlers with early morning waking for sure, like it did for us. And you’ll still need to do all the things along with it!

The buttons don’t work and it constantly resets so it’s not connected to the app and type have to enter your email several times per month. Not easy or fun when trying to put down a baby and have a calm bedtime routine but the sound machine isn’t working so you’re staring at your phone trying to get the app to work

This sound machine caused me so much anger. Save yourself and just get a cheap reliable sound machine that doesn’t need wifi to connect. This thing is so glitchy, it randomly turns off in the middle of the night while my baby is sleeping or randomly turns on the nightlight to full brightness out of no where. I’m fed up
