Hatch Rest 2nd Gen All-in-one Sleep Machine, Nightlight & Sound Machine

I have three children under the age of five, we have a hatch for each of their bedrooms, our guest bedroom, our bedroom and our camper. We don’t go anywhere without it. We also have two travel hatches for the stroller and a backup! We love this product and it has improved our sleep and the sleep of all of our children!it is a great gift!

Having sound issues with our hatch. After back and forth with support they sent a second hatch that has same issue as the first one.

It’s amazing it helps me fall asleep really quickly and gets me relaxed when I need to be. I love this and I would be recommending this product to everyone I know.

We had our Hatch 2 replaced due to a problem earlier. This replacement has worked well with the exception of, arguably one of the most important times of the year, daylight saving time! The noise that's scheduled to turn on when it's time to sleep turned on and off randomly the entire weekend of the time change. Very frustrating.

The first generation for me was the best machine ever, i don’t know why it’s just not as loud as the first gen even putting it at full 100 volume.

Stopped working after 10 months as the software would glitch and the sound would turn off even when the settings are set to infinite cycle. Customer service is poor - no phone support, only email that takes days instead of minutes.

Seriously garbage app makes the whole product useless. Constantly concerned if i accidentally touch a different noise when adjusting the volume. The app is so glitchy!!! We have tried everything to fix it with re downloading the app. Do yourself a favor and buy a different sound machine

This. Is. Horrible. Don't waste your money. The app SUCKS. It constantly disconnects from WiFi, and good luck trying to get it back on. When it is offline it won't work at all. I have spent literal hours trying to connect it, restarting our router, trying to update firmware (which always gives me an "OOPS!" Error message). It will skip and shut off completely during the night, waking my kiddos. I have two of these and they both have the same problems. Truly a horrible product and for $60?!?! Junk.

My girls love this. No more guessing if it’s okay to get up in the mornings. If they wake up before the light changes, they just lay and rest or play quietly until it changes. My only complaint is you can’t edit anything once it’s started. Like at night, the noise and light come on at 7:55. If I want to change the color of the light at 7:56, it stops the noise and light to do so. I wish I could just change it without interrupting the routine. Overall, a great product. Solid noise machine and night light with so many options for noise and light level. Will be purchasing another when my son is a little older.

The sound on this machine does not go very loud. I turn it all the way up to 100 and it is just barely louder than at level 70. I am not sure if there is something defective about this specific one or if that is how it is for all of them. I had heard such good things about this, but my small, portable sound machine seems to be more powerful than this one.

I wish I could give this 0 stars because it SUCKS that bad! First off, it’s not nearly as loud, which my daughter noticed right away. Lastly, it really only can be used via the app which is glitchy, delayed and sometimes doesn’t work. I’m then stuck messing with this right at bed time and hoping it will work throughout the night. I would never recommend the Gen 2 hatch to anyone!

I am so disappointed I can’t purchase the gen 1… gen 1 was so much better. Lasted me 3+ years. Gen 2 failed in 6 months. App is crap for Gen 2. Save your money and find something else than the gen 2.

This product fails at its primary purposes, white noise cuts out randomly, lamp is very dim even at full brightness, touch ring stops working and needs to be reset every few weeks. Would not recommend this to anyone unless you've ever been interested in paying 5$/mo to use an rgb lamp.

We use brown noise, it works but sometimes it glitches.

Too hard to use. When you don’t have your app you can’t turn the thing off..

We’ve used this every night since our son was born. When we had a problem with the Hatch they sent us a new one and they were very easy to work with!

The first generation version is great. The 2nd gen is overly complex and difficult to use. I returned mine and ordered another first generation Hatch for my second child.

Many features require subscription

I’ve recently purchased a 2nd Hatch for our second baby on the way - our first born really benefitted from it! But I’m not sure what has recently happened with the app as we struggle to get it to work almost nightly now. It’s constantly resetting the device in order for it to properly function. It’s a huge bummer!

The hatch will randomly shut off for a few seconds. It happens many times during the night. It is very distributive to our sleep. Did a reset and made sure our Internet is not at fault. Still having the issue
