Hatchimals Alive Rainbow Hatchery

If your kid is like mine and wants more than one. Do not purchase the same thing twice! It’s literally the same 6 eggs for everyone. You cannot get anything different unless you start buying the single eggs elsewhere. We have double of everything. Which is pointless. And they absolutely stain everything! Stained floors, counters. So do not let any children big or small do it on their own.

The eggs are made of heavy plastic and are completely useless after they hatch. It's so incredibly wasteful, I really regret buying this.

They are cute but for $20 it lasted 10 seconds…

If you want the recipient’s parents to hate you for the rest of their lives, buy this toy. I broke my no slime/no color reveal/liquid reveal toys rule and bought it for my daughters. Burned big time. A tiny splash of the red color from one of the eggs speckled on one of my white kitchen cabinet faces. I CANT GET IT OFF with any cleaning product!!! It’s bright magenta. Forever on my 100k remodeled kitchen. You have been warned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m rating this 5 stars simply for the joy and excitement it brought to my 5 and 7 year old. The overall packaging was nice but when all said and done it is actually a waste since you throw it all away and are left with small figurines. It is a short lived entertainment but the kids did enjoy it.

It is a little messy, so I would recommend protecting your floor or tabletop, but it was fun and easy to use. No assembly required, and a great quality product over all. The girls liked the hatching process and the toys!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's really a cute concept, but be prepared for the overflow of dye from when it bubbles out of the eggs. If they get into anything, they definitely stain. The little accessories are extra small and don't really stay in the toys that well. The eggshells are really tough to get off the base of the egg (the toys are supposed to sit on them). I almost broke a couple of nails trying to get one clean. Overall, the whole thing is cute, but be wary of the mess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so adorable! My daughter has been a huge fan of Hatchimals since they first came out several years ago. She enjoys playing with these miniatures, especially because they are so portable, adorable, and fun. They each come with little accessories also which only ad to the fun experience. I appreciated the easy packaging as well because it did not require that. I used figure to open anything, and my daughter was able to open it all on her own.There were no repeated figures in her set either which was something that she was worried about. Each one is very original and very cute and fun to play with and we definitely recommend this toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a lovely toy! My kids were so excited to try and play with these cute little baby birds, the process to hatch the eggs was so neat. We just added some water and in seconds they popped out, the water was like rainbow, each egg had a color in the bottom, all the little birds came with a tiny tiny cute accessories. My girl thinks is the cutest thing ever.

She was so excited and told us all about it before actually opening it. After opening she actually played with it for hours. Her father refers to these types of toys as “junk toys” but the amount of joy that they bring her I don’t even mind!

The fun starts with unboxing them and getting them out of their “eggs”. Once all six of the little critters hatch, the play begins. Each figure has a fun accessory and is either common or rare. You can determine if the character is common or rare by checking out the included check list. Part of the packaging doubles as a play place for the figures and looks like a mini water park. My kids love collecting and trading these cute little figures and this set has already provided hours of fun, imaginative play.

In the morning after he got up the first thing he did was put all these hatchimals on the dining table to feed them breakfast. Fun thing to watch.
