My daughter loves this toy. She had fun opening all the eggs. The case is good quality and I was surprised by how solid it is. I don't think it's worth $20 but I don't think any toys like these are worth the high prices. My daughter didn't mind though. (She bought it with her allowance and understands money fairly well) I guess the fun of it is opening the eggs. The tiny animals are really cute though.
My mom got this toy for my brother’s birthday. He loved it, although after we opened all the eggs, it was kinda boring. We don’t like playing with them, but the changing colors of the surf board was cool!
My Grand Daughter loves them but like the other viewer said we get doubles. This makes her disappointed , wish there was a way to know if you was getting doubles or not , I even brought from different stores. They are a bit costly tho.cause she wants them all.
Three of my kids (ages 2 - 6) all love hatching these. But the mermal magic hatchimals get WAY more play than regular hatchimals because they are color changing. Since we opened them a couple weeks ago, my kids have gotten them out daily to play with and to watch them change colors. We got 2 packs, and they were exactly the same. That was a little disappointing bc the package said there were 80 different ones to collect. Thought we could get at least some different ones.
