Hatchimals Family Surprise Assortment

Cute toy! The kids loved it, used it as part of their Easter basket and they were pleasantly surprised. The little toy inside is really small but super cute.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a really cute, small treat to surprise my niece with (for a regular ol' seeing-her-auntie visit)! she got the raccoon photographer, which was perfect because she had received a fun little camera toy for Christmas not long ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such an amazing gift to give kids on Easter. I gave my daughter to break the egg. She is absolutely obsessed with ponies and when she found this character in side, it just made her day! A little tip for the parents, you might want to let your kids use a spoon or something else rather than letting them use their fingers to break the egg because it is quite hard and they might hurt themselves with sharp pieces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I will say that the characters are adorable, they are just more pieces of plastic. We recieved "Kitty ChaCha" a dancing kitty with sparkling yellow wings to compliment her blue wrist and ankle bands and her coordinating hair how. It's very tiny and her head does turn from side to side. But they are so incredibly small. I can see these being lost very easily. And with over 60 to collect, without knowing what is in each package, you will easily collect more than that. And once interest has passed on these characters they will end up in the garbage because they cannot be recycled. These just seem like another obnoxious waste of plastic.

I was not sure if they were a little to old for them but they still love them! The anticipation of rubbing the egg and seeing which surprise collectible is inside is still exciting. The fact my twins got twin babies, pure joy!

Both my 4 year old and 6 year old could not wait for the egg to open to see what was inside. Once it hatched there was a tiny plastic figure inside that they thought was quite cute. It's almost like a kinder egg but without the chocolate.

We also love hatchimals but this is the first time we had mini eggs from the brand. The toy inside is cute and well made, but find it too small.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came at the perfect time because my kids are currently obsessed with playing pretend hatching eggs mostly using pillows as egg shell. The hatching and peeling of the shell was easy for the kids and we received the twin unicorn babies. The hatching all went so quickly that the hatching part, which is the most exciting part ended in just seconds. My kids couldnt really enjoy it because they were fighting over who gets to hatch so peeling the egg was rushed. The idea of this toy is great but I wish there was a way to unhatch? The babies were also very small and lost in the house by next day. The bottom part of the egg that doesnt crumble into more pieces is nice to have as a base for keeping the babies. Overall I recommend this toy but its not something I would rush out to get. This was received for free in exchange for my opinion. #gotitfree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family loves blind/mystery bags and boxes, so we were excited to see that a household fave - Hatchimals - had released their own version! There are 8 different "families" of different animals, hence these mystery bags being dubbed "Family Surprise" packs. Inside, there's a sealed egg that your little one has to crack open to reveal either a single kid character or two babies. This was a huge hit with our 4 and 5 year old, who love adding to their collections of all types of characters! We opened up the pack to find a purple-hued egg, which both girls were crazy about. So enamored that they refuse to crack open the egg for now - they want to keep admiring it a little longer! We've marked a day on the calendar now for officially opening the egg - Valentines Day, in keeping with the heart theme. Little did I know that such a small package would give them weeks' worth of enjoyment before even getting to the core of the toy! I think these sorts of packs would be fantastic to add to an Easter basket or loot bag, or even as a small treat or surprise. With spring coming up, I can definitely see myself picking up more of these eggs and using them as stuffers. Her favourite part was breaking open the little pink egg and discovering what character hatched! Once hatched, out came a super cute bright sparkly winged character named "Battie Mercury". These Hatchimals are very well designed with pretty patterns and bright colors that are very eye catching! my daughter already wants more. #gotitfree

The egg was a little hard to crush for their small hands but I'm sure once they get more, yes they now want to start a collection, it will get much easier to crack. I may even get a few for myself . They are just so cute! Also make for a great gift or stocking stuffer.

She is so happy to hold the egg in her hands, rub the heart, hatch gently until she crack the shell and take the hatchimal out of the egg. It's a big fun for her until she knows what's inside the egg. I will pay attention for the new seasons and keep buying more for her.

Its quite fun to warm it up and hatch it and then get the little surprise toy from the inside. My 7yo loved it, after I warmed it for a bit (because it came quite cold thanks to the current weather) she got to finish the hatching process and her reaction was lovely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product itself, gifted in exchange for an honest opinion, was fun for my 7 year daughter to unwrap and cracking the egg brought a big smile to her face. She loved the little toy inside to add to her growing collection of Hatchimals. In my opinion the toy was rather small and likely to be misplaced or forgotten about quickly; however, it was about 30 minutes of entertainment so for few dollars I would consider the value worth the price. It would make a nice and affordable 'just because' surprise or stocking stuffer for a young child. It was incorporated quickly into my girl's pretend play and creativity took over!
