Heavyweight Linen Blend Comforter & Sham Set - Casaluna™

A: We just bought the comforter a month ago and I wanted to try and wash it before my wife came home from work, no luck it just doesn’t want to dry no matter what I do to it. My first attempt at it, the top side of the blanket developed a scent to it. I’ve been trying to dry it for the past 2 days. My next move is to go to the laundromat to dry it. Anyone have advice on this?

A: I took my king size comforter to laundromat where they have commercial size equipment and front load washer. Followed instructions. Came out fine.

A: Mine was ruined after the first wash and the filler melted on the low heat setting. Very disappointed.

A: I have now melted two of them. Even on low dryer heat, because of the bulk, it will block air flow and heat will concentrate in a specific area. Was trying to be very careful the second time.

A: I ruined my King size by drying it because the stuffing melted. what on earth are they putting in there that melts?? Really disappointing for the price. It comes out of the wash a wrinkled mess.

A: Just washed mine a couple nights ago at the laundromat! The drying took forever, I did get it dry though, used medium heat and kept taking it out and rearranging it every 5 minutes because of it balling up badly. I ended the last 20 minutes on low to get it pretty much finished. It was quite a job I will admit, since it weighs a ton, especially wet. Mine had some thread pulls, which were a defect in the fabric come out and look bad. Will be exchanging mine. Other than that it washed really well!

A: I have a standard size King Nectar matress and it is a lot smaller than I would prefer. Almost too small. I really wish they would make oversized king bedspreads. We loved the king size on our queen.

A: I have a Cal King Nectar mattress and it fits perfectly.

A: You must not have a Cali king because it fits mine perfectly.

A: It barely fits my King and is smaller than I would like, so I would say that’s it doesn’t.

A: Usually soaking in OxiClean works. I just turn on the washer for a few minutes. Turn off. Let soak for 60 minutes and then restart washer to finish the cycle.

A: Not sure about bleach as I haven't purchased this (although I want to), but try oxyclean!
