The first attempt that they made at the vegan mayonnaise was perfect. It was called the sandwich spread. Now it’s been changed and it’s just not as good and it makes me want to look for an alternative with another manufacturer other than Hellmann’s. I don’t know why they changed some thing that was perfect! I loved the original vegan sandwich spread. If they bring that one back I will continue buying it. Otherwise I’m going to look for a different product
The new formula with the sunflower oil has a strange taste to it. The previous one with soybean oil was much better. That one was on point; it tasted identical to “regular” mayonnaise. Guess I’ll have to start ordering Just Mayo again
The soybean oil recipe was my absolute favorite vegan mayo on the market, this new recipe with sunflower oil tastes like plastic no matter what I tried with it! I'll have to find a new vegan mayo now, please bring back the old one!
I loveeeeeed the original vegan mayo by Hellmanns but the new formula is so bad! Literally was ruining the taste of all my dishes. I thought it was something else until I tasted the mayo. Thought it was a bad jar but turns out they changed the formula. I will never purchase again :(
I loved the old version of Hellman’s Vegan mayo. I recently ordered 2 jars from our grocery store since I use mayo frequently. Unfortunately, after Opening one jar I thought it tasted rancid and opened the other jar. Apparently the formula has changed and the new green labeled mayo is not even close to the Brown labeled jars of Hellman’s vegan my family had become accustomed to. I Will be finding another replacement for Hellman’s, Bc This new formula is not worth buying. I would highly suggest not purchasing this unless you want rancid rastning coleslaw etc.
