Say hello to naturally friendly activated charcoal fluoride whitening toothpaste. This black paste is thoughtfully formulated with high quality ingredients like fresh mint, coconut oil, xylitol and activated charcoal (made from sustainable bamboo) that whiten naturally and gently without peroxide. This toothpaste polishes and cleans, prevents cavities, whitens, removes surface stains and freshen breath. But buckle-up, there's more goodness: hello contains no peroxide, no artificial sweeteners, no artificial flavors, no dyes, no microbeads, no parabens, no SLS/sulfates, and no gluten. As if that weren't enough magic for one tube, hello is also vegan and never tested on animals (Leaping Bunny Certified and PETA recognized). I actually received this by accident as part of a pickup order but really wanted to try it for awhile since I like clean beauty. I can’t believe it’s really whitening my teeth, I’ve only used it for about a week and I’ve seen a marked improvement! They’re also pretty sensitive and I think the natural formula really helps bc I haven’t had any problems. Some folks say it’s messy but just keep your mouth closed while you brush and you’ll be fine.

I love the other hello toothpastes, 5 stars usually. This doesn’t seem to be much different, but is so messy! It’s like when you wash your face with 3 layers of mascara, black water stains everywhere. I’ll get the regular next time.

I just do not like the charcoal products for my teeth. I think there are better ways to whiten teeth and it looks and feels kind of gross. The product itself is fine I just don’t like the charcoal personally.
