It does have pleasant fragrance not overpowering. This shampoo does not clean my hair. It feels like it doesn’t wash clean and my hair is greasy feeling. It also makes my hair very tangled. I had hoped I had found a good shampoo to use on my color treated hair but I won’t buy again. My hair is soft and shiny right after it is washed.

We appreciate you for getting in touch about our Herbal Essences Pure Grapeseed Color Nurture Shampoo. It makes us happy to hear that you enjoy the product's fragrance and that your hair was left feeling soft and looking shiny. However, it is disappointing to hear that you didn't get the clean you were hoping for, that your hair felt greasy, and became tangled. That's not the experience we want for our consumers and we'll be sure to report this to the rest of our team. In the meantime, to get rid of any excess grease, we recommend washing your hair with a clarifying shampoo. There's a chance that the product wasn't fully rinsed out. If a shampoo or conditioning product hasn't been fully rinsed, it can leave your hair greasy and may have your hair feeling unclean. Tangled hair is common and can worsen when combed or brushed while wet. To prevent this, be sure to avoid piling your hair on top of your hair. You can also try using a shampoo or conditioner with a higher conditioning level. We'd like to gather some additional details. When you find the time, please give us a call at 1-855-236-3327 or email us through our Contact Us Page so we may better assist you.

I read the reviews and thought I’d give this a try. Big mistake, as my hair is oily and I need a shampoo that gets rid of the oil. This did the opposite, after I washed my hair, it felt like I had lathered up with baby oil. I luckily still had some of Color Me Happy Herbal Essence shampoo and quickly used that to wash this garbage out. Maybe it’s good if you have extremely dry hair, but I can’t wait to return it. Would not recommend it unless you like your hair feeling like a grease slick.

Thank you for getting in touch about our Herbal Essences Pure Grapeseed Color Nurture Shampoo. While we're glad that you love our Color Me Happy Shampoo, we are sorry to hear that your hair was left feeling very greasy. That's not the kind of experience we want you to have and we understand how it can be frustrating. Please know that we are reporting this to the rest of our Herbal Essences team. To get rid of any excess grease or product, we recommend using a clarifying shampoo. In order to prevent this from happening in the future, be sure that your hair has been thoroughly rinsed. If a shampoo or conditioning product hasn't been fully rinsed, it can leave your hair greasy. You may also want to try using a shampoo that's less hydrating then what you're currently using. We'd like to collect some additional information regarding your experience. When you have the time, please give us a call at 1-855-236-3327 or email us through our Contact Us Page so we can better assist you.

I really like this shampoo, it makes my hair really soft (I have low porosity hair) and a great plus is that it smells amazing!
Switched to this shampoo from a more pricier brand.

Was using a brand that was $26 and didn’t make my hair feel good. Finally decided to go back to “drugstore” brand & this works fantastic! I have highlighted blonde hair (on top of natural dirty blonde) fine hair medium length. Lathers great, doesn’t smell too strong, my hair stays cleaner a day longer than before (3 days). Hair doesn’t get tangled. Took a few washes for hair to adjust but glad i found one that finally works for me.

Thank you for reaching out about our Herbal Essences Pure Grapeseed Color Nurture Shampoo. It's disappointing to hear that your hair became dry and tangled. This definitely isn't the kind of experience we want or expect our consumers to have. Please know that we are reporting this back to our Herbal Essences Team. In the meantime it may help to understand that hair is typically dry when it's not conditioned well enough. Also, as you may already know, tangled hair is common and can be made worse when scrubbing or combing the hair while it's wet. To solve both of these issues, we recommend using a rich conditioner. There's a chance that the product may not have been moisturizing enough for your hair type and a richer conditioner or more hydrating shampoo should do the job. You can also try using a leave-in conditioner, instead of one that you rinse. To help detangle your hair, apply a conditioner directly to your dry, tangled hair, and let it sit for several minutes. Afterwards, with a fine-toothed comb, began to detangle your hair. Be sure to start at the ends and inch your way up to the roots. We'd like to collect some additional information about your experience. When you have the time, please give us a call at 1-855-236-3327 or email us through our Contact Us Page so we can better assist you.

This shampoo works! I read the reviews, I bought it, and it’s amazing. Usually my gray comes in way faster and this shampoo helps immensely so much even my husband noticed it. I love the lather it makes your hair feel clean and it smells amazing. They got it right with this one! I use the conditioner too and that lasts so long you don’t need a lot.
I like.

Happily surprised by the performance of this shampoo. I have fine, highlighted hair that goes limp overnight, so wash it daily. With this shampoo, which is nicely moisturizing but not greasy, I can skip a day of washing! This product delivers shine and less tangling too. Finally, it has a nice scent. So pleased with this shampoo I'm going to try the conditioner as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I liked the details they did of the dotes in the bottle as I read is to differentiate from shampoo and conditioner for the low vision consumers. The shampoo lathers very well. The scent is different from other products I have tried. But it is nice. The shampoo is PETA cruelty free so it’s great to know it was created with natural source ingredients. The bottle has lasted me for over a month. It goes well with the condition. I definitely recommend it and is worth the try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and Herbal Essences in exchange for my honest review. This shampoo is really good! Since I started dyeing my hair over a year ago, I’ve been looking for a shampoo that is hydrating and soften my hair without damaging my color. And this shampoo delivers. I love the scent, it is sweet and refreshing without being too strong. A little goes a long g way, it’s a rich formula, it’s a nice formula. I also have a dandruff problem and this shampoo didn’t affect it or trigger it. I have would by it myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ah, the Herbal Essences Sulfate Free Pure Grapeseed Color Nurture Shampoo – let's just say it's a love letter to my color-treated tresses. I stumbled upon it after a disastrous dye job left my hair feeling like straw and my vibrant color looking about as fresh as yesterday's coffee. Little did I know, this unassuming 13.5oz bottle held the key to a hair resurrection! First Impressions: Forget harsh, stripping chemical cocktails! This shampoo oozes gentle vibes from the moment you squeeze it into your palm. The scent – a fresh, grapey whisper that hints at summer vineyards – instantly transported me to a sun-drenched Italian villa (okay, maybe it was my bathroom, but I like my daydreams dramatic). The texture, oh the texture, was like a creamy lather that whispered promises of nourishment and silkiness. Washing Away Worries: Lathering up felt like a spa day for my scalp. No stinging, no irritation, just pure, gentle cleansing that somehow managed to feel luxurious. And then, the magic happened. As I rinsed, my hair didn't feel stripped or brittle. It felt…soft. Like, "I-want-to-run-my-fingers-through-it-all-day" soft. The color? Oh, the color! It came alive, radiant and vibrant, like I'd stepped back in time to the day I left the salon. The Verdict: Herbal Essences Sulfate Free Pure Grapeseed Color Nurture Shampoo isn't just a shampoo, it's a miracle worker. It's the Gandalf to my hair's Gollum, restoring life and vibrancy after a color catastrophe. My hair is smoother, shinier, and the color? Let's just say I get compliments on the daily (bonus points for the delicious grape scent that lingers like a flirty summer breeze). Final Tip: Pair this gem with the matching conditioner for a full-on hair hero duo. And trust me, your color-treated locks will thank you with every bouncy, shiny flip. So, there you have it, my ode to the Herbal Essences Sulfate Free Pure Grapeseed Color Nurture Shampoo. If you're looking for a gentle, nourishing shampoo that brings your color-treated hair back from the brink (and smells like a dream), grab this bottle and prepare to be amazed. Your hair (and your confidence) will thank you for it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It wasn't a shampoo that felt too heavy and I didn’t have to use much to work up a lather. For reference I have hair a bit past my shoulders. It was pleasantly scented.
