HEXBUG BattleBots Arena MAX

The quality is not the greatest. What do you think will happen with plastic spinning parts? Yep, it broke quickly. Unfortunately, it’s outside of the return window. Luckily, I bought this on sale. I will never purchase this again.

This toy is awesome! My grandson got it for Christmas and put it together by himself. Paired the bot to the controllers and played for hrs. Even the adults were playing.

Easy to assume with help from an adult. Arena is large and has plenty of room for two players. Auger is a cool feature. One of the controllers does not work at all (it was brand new) which was VERY disappointing for my son. It seems that this is a problem from reading the other reviews. I suggest purchasing a third bot as a backup. Working on getting a replacement controller.

Purchased for gift, Grandson will be delighted

My kids love hexbug battle bots, they’re usually good toys, However I bought this as a Christmas present so we haven’t actually tried it, my concern is that the delivery box was broken and the actual toy box is mistreated, hope it really works casi it wasn’t available in store

This arena is incredible in comparison to the previous model. The cardboard floor on the last model had issues once you experienced a tear and there were jamming issues when the bots hit the sides (especially Rotator). The new arena’s plastic floor, added screws and sidewalls are a major upgrade. We did have one of the pulverizers break when my son stepped on it, but we put on some crazy glue and it works as if nothing happened. Great fun! I just wish most of the Battlebots had the quality and durability of this arena. On a side note, our Tombstone bot broke shortly after opening the set, which is very common with these toys. The customizable bot hasn’t had any issues and we’ve owned the set for quite a while. Hexbug needs to step up their game with the Battlebots or bring down the price cause the replacement cost is very high to keep the fun going.

My son absolutely loves this set. He just wishes it had the platform above the corkscrews like the real arena. But he is having tons of fun with it. He especially loves how powerful Tombstone is in this set.

Horrible, vehicle broke within 5 mins of playing weapon stopped working

Was so excited to play with this. One of the bots broke the very first try out. Very disappointing. My boys want to return and buy another one but I’m skeptical this will be a quality toy.

Controller Was Getting Hot

My son got this for Christmas. He loves the bigger size and the working screws but the hammers broke within a few days even after getting one replaced.

My kids loved it! The board was little hard for my kids to put together by themselves but with adult help, it’s easy to assemble.

We haven’t had time to play with it because one of the remote controls will not pair. We are hoping it is just the batteries but we are having a hard time finding them. Needless to say my kids heart was disappointed today. They were very anxious to try it out.

My sons loved these, they are a really neat concept. But they don't seems to be very good quality. One of the remotes stopped working and one of the bots is moving slowly and oddly after only 1-2 days of play. We tried replacing the batteries and it did not fix the issues. They want to replace it, but I'm worried we'd have the same issue again.

The size is great. It’s a gift but looks well made.
