Excited to gift this to one of my son’s friends for her birthday! We received the red color, which is super cute! It appears as though one of the antennae doesn’t move though, and the packaging came cracked (sharp edges), so unfortunately we will have to take it to the store to exchange. I hope they still have red!

My 3 year old loves it and calls is his pet scorpion he enjoys looking how it works. The only issue I have its the tail it falls of kind of quick and sometimes we have a hard time finding it but from there so far it durable.

The hexbug scorpion is pretty awesome! My son got one for Christmas and he plays with it non stop. The tail comes apart but it is easy to put back together. They don’t do so well on carpet though but other than that they are super fun and cool to watch them crawl all over the place.

Within the first hour of playing with it, one of the legs stopped working. I saw that the screw came out, so I took it apart and hooked it all back together where the parts should be. But then the same exact screw came out again. My son said he was ok with one leg being broken, but then a second leg did the same thing about half an hr later. Needless to say, I’m taking it back to exchange and hope we just picked a bad bug.
