Michelle Aleckson created a great story with unique characters! Talia Knowles’ aunt is abducted! With the kidnappers after her, ex-marine Noah Landers tries to protect her while finding the key to her aunt’s disappearance. Will they uncover the kidnappers motives and find her aunt? I really enjoyed reading Talia and Noah’s story. Talia is very unique and genuine. She is one of my favorite characters!

The action starts in the opening scenes when three shots are fired that signify "run for safety." The action continues in each chapter when you wonder what is going to happen to Talia Knowles and Noah Landers and who is after them. Noah has answers to Talia's past and they must stay alive to order to find out the truth about who killed her family and why. Definitely a suspense filled story.
