Whip up a quick salad dressing by stirring Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix with milk and mayonnaise, and make a salad by tossing with mixed greens, pasta or potatoes. Make a zesty dip when you combine with sour cream, perfect with veggies, crackers or pretzels. Plus, add black pepper to Hidden Valley Original Ranch Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix to create a black pepper rub for meats, or stir the dry mix into mashed potatoes to instantly upgrade your side dish. Usage Directions: For fresh dressing, in a bowl, combine 1 cup milk and 1 cup mayonnaise* with contents of packet. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate. Chill 30 minutes to thicken. Stir before serving. For fresh dip, in a bowl, combine 16 ounces sour cream* with contents of packet. *For less fat and fewer calories, use low fat or fat free mayonnaise or sour cream.

The site says it's gluten free but when I look at the ingredients it says otherwise. The second ingredient is MSG. Be careful if you have food allergies or sensitivities.

Not as good as I was hoping... needed more flavor and it was hard to make it thick by following the exact recipe so I had to add a few extra ingredients so it wasn't soooo watery...

This has so much ranch flavor, you can keep these packets in your cupboard or cabinet for awhile and they last long. As well as keep long they have a huge amount of options for using the powder. It’s very versatile.

I use these packets in my potatoes. If you’re reading this you should definitely try it. Combine olive oil, ranch seasoning, salt and pepper then pour over your diced potatoes and bake for 30-40 minutes. My mother in law showed me this, Soooo good.
