Q: can legs be attached to the bottom of the file cabinet

A: No. The bottom is mostly hollow (to save $$)--there is a flat metal edge (about 1/2" wide) around 3/4 of the underside's perimiter; it's thicker at the front. Will NOT hold weight if on legs.

A: I found my handles in the bottom drawer, but I had to tilt the drawer open. the handles should come in a small bag along with the screws

A: I moved mine to a new house without even emptying the drawers, it's not very big and the metal is thin so it's not heavy.

A: NO ball bearings or wheels. These drawers open by greased metal sliding on metal. Brand new, they slide decently. Might want to keep it greased in years to come.

I BOUGHT THIS FILE AND AM THRILLED WITH IT. PRICE WAS GREAT. TOP DRAWER IS PERFECT FOR PENCILS, PEN, SCISSORS, STAPLER ETC. THE TWO BOTTOM DRAWERS HOLD MANY FILES AND ARE PERFECT FOR A HOME OFFICE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FILING CABINET TO ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN BUYING THIS.

Box was not damaged but cabinet was bent in a couple of places. It still works but has a gap on one side. Key is missing as well. This means it was a return and Target just reboxed it. Item should have been a clearance item not sold as new. Target has definitely lowered its standards

For the price it’s fine. But I expect to get the same color. I ordered 2 white cabinets and received 1 white and 1 cream looking one? They have a few dings in them but nothing crazy. Still though, I’m paying for a product to not have dings and be the right color. Super thin metal, to where you can easily bend it

Box was heavily damaged, even from in-store pickup. Barely any foam inside, which was quite squished. Luckily, only one corner was damaged (see photo). This Dec 2022 cabinet's color of white is whiter than IKEA's white (see top-down photo--IKEA on left, file cabinet on right). The metal it is made of is fairly thin, and might dent easily. Handles are very sturdy, and actually quite pretty. There are no ball bearings--the drawers are greased metal sliding on metal. Keys were attached to the lock, but inside the drawer. Letter-sized hanging files hang direclty from drawer sides. Wheels or legs will NOT work because this cabinet's underside is mostly hollow--you can see the bottom drawer through it. There is aprox 1/2" flat band of metal around 3/4 the perimiter of the underside, with the front being much thicker. The thin metal will not hold weight on legs.

The material used to make this cabinet is flimsy as hell. I knew something was weird when I could easy carry the box from my building lobby to my apt. It seriously feels as thin as a soda can and as you can see from the photos, very prone to dents and damage. As soon as I opened the box, I called customer service and started a refund. I would not recommend this at all.

The cabinet had a big dent in it when we removed it from the box. You can’t have the bottom portion open and then open the top portion it will start tipping over. It’s cheaply made but will work in a pinch.

this is perfect for my home office. I love that the sides of the file drawers are designed to hold hanging file folders. I also love the smaller top drawer for supplies. it's simple, affordable, and does the job. a few things to note: the drawers don't pull all the way out, so if you stuff the drawer full to the very back you'd have to take the front folders out to have access to the back folders; the key did not work, it did not even fit into the keyhole. neither of these are issues for my purposes but I couldn't give full 5 stars because of it.

Damaged. Cheap quality. Had drive up service. Box went into my trunk. Got home to an opened box — literally all the glue was ripped off and packaging foam was missing. It had finger prints, paint on drawers were scratched. Really cheap drawer hardware. Absolutely poor quality. Felt like a hand me down from a college dorm room.
