Holiday Craft Block Christmas Countdown Kit - Mondo Llama™

Missing the sticker for number six. It came with a extra number. But not a 6. So one block has a complete blank spot.

This was very easy to assemble and decorate. There was plenty of paint included and tons of glitter. However I would not recommend using the provided glue to attach the wreath to the house or the ornaments to the trees/wreath. I used a low temp hot glue gun and felt like that was much more secure than basic school glue. Overall value for the price is excellent and I'm excited to have this little countdown calendar for years to come!

This kit has it all! Everything you need to count down to Christmas creatively! I can't wait to get to December 25th. This kit makes counting down to Christmas fun and super creative!

This kit is pretty neat! I’ve been on the hunt for a Christmas count down and thought this looked super cute. I like all of the little details it includes, the glittery snow, trees, and the little wreath. Everything stuck together well and seems sturdy. I was able to secure the wreath with the glue supplied by laying the house horizontally and letting it dry overnight. A few things I didn’t like, I felt like I was limited with choosing colors with two pots for the large surface areas. The pompoms were also aggravating to stick onto the trees because they were so sparse. And I ran out of glue when trying to put snow on the trees. Overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out and I can see myself using this for many years to come!

The Christmas countdown is solid wood! It comes with really fun paint colors that all go well together. My son and I made this after school one day and were able to finish it. The paint dries quickly too. The instructions are very helpful especially for putting the numbers on the blocks. I love the added details it comes with like the snow, candy canes, and pompoms to decorate! We will save this and use it in future years!

This is a great decor piece. After I made it, it reminds me of something you would see on the shelves at stores. Great details. Will use this for years to come.

What a great kit. Love that everything is included and there are excellent instructions so my older child can read them! This will be a keepsake we pull out each year to count down Christmas!

Super fun kit for the grandkids to have fun with and a fabulous way to start out the Christmas Season plus it is just enjoyable to create memories when creating.

There is no #6! I have one of these that my MIL made for birthdays, so I know this is possible to do correctly and go for more than 5 days - how does this not have a #6?

I've wanted a 'countdown' Christmas decoration for a while, and love the Mondo Llama craft kits, so I was excited to pick this up and get started on it. Just a few things that I've found as I'm working on it: I painted the house in the light green color as the back of the box shows a light green house in progress, but there isn't really enough color in just one pot to cover the house, so you're better off choosing one of the colors with two to cover the building (this was my fault because I just liked the light green the best lol), but also as other reviews have stated it is pretty hard to get the pompoms to stick to the tree because the glue is so liquid and seeps through the branches - I found letting the glue dry a bit before putting a pom on a tree then letting the tree sit while I put a pompom/bead on another tree helped. Might be worth trying hot glue/super glue as a better option. Also, while it does seem to be missing a 6, the 9 font works well enough to just turn the 6 block upside down, so you're not missing out on that part of the countdown! Wish they explained that in the instructions though.

My 10yr old daughter and her 11yr old cousin picked these for their sleepover craft and it was a huge hit. Kept them occupied for longer than I expected and turned out very cute. Quite messy, but just be prepared with a sheet or something underneath. I will also be going over the blocks with modge podge to secure them on better.

This was a really fun project to work on. The glue it comes with is not strong enough to adhere much beyond the glitter/sparkles so definitely recommend super glue or an alternative adhesive to get things to stick. The pom poms and beads are probably the most annoying to try and adhere to the wire trees, and I could not get the two back wire trees to fit properly in their designated holes. Overall, I think it’s worth the purchase and you can really customize it to whatever your style is.

It’s a great craft activity and I loved painting it. However it didn’t come with the number 6 so you can never have 16 or 6 days till Christmas. It even says in the directions how to apply the stickers and says the number 6.

Such a cute set and pretty easy to put together. Ended up using super glue for the wreath because the glue provided didn't work. The numbers that the directions tell you to put on each block make no sense. It's 44 days till Christmas today and there is only one number '4'. So the countdown won't be accurate for many days.

Great in theory... but it was missing pieces (candy cane and a tree) and the glue didn't have the plug in it despite the box being sealed so it exploded when I twisted the cap off. The numbers don't stick to the painted blocks so I'll have to mod podge and glue them on. The gaps in the tree branches make it so the glue just drips through the branches to the bottom of the tree, the pom poms don't stay and you have to get the beads on a branch and seal with glue, or they slip right off, too. This would've been so nice looking if it was a better quality and I got all the pieces!

Super cute. I love it. Only complaint is hard to get wreath on we had to use a push pin to hang it over and the pom poms are almost impossible the get on. I bet some people will have really cool versions of this excited to see
