Q: Will this fit Holmes model hap 9240? I’ve replaced some before with aer1 filters and the check filter light has stayed on. I don’t know if I have the wrong filter or am putting it in incorrectly.

Falling apart right out of the box. The glue that is supposed to hold them together is not doing it's job. I like to stick with OEM parts but there's seen to be complete junk.

Dust, Dander & Pet Hair - Oh My!

These filters have been a godsend since my new “roommate” moved in last year (Pembroke Welsh Corgi). I already suffer from heavy dust issues from the washer-dryer unit being stationed in my apartment bathroom.. so when my new long-hair, double-coated puppy began to shed in addition to that, I became overtaken by the impurities. I can HANDS-DOWN say these filters have reduced both the dust & the pet hair/dander by up to @ least 60-70% in each room I have placed one (now 2) & are far superior to another // more expensive purifier unit I also have in the home.. That being said, the filters definitely do not last 4-months if you use them as directed; however, they will last longer & the machine runs better if you maintain it every few weeks (ie. Vacuum, wipe down, etc.). Highly Recommend.

I currently have 4 of the Holmes air purifiers. I have really bad allergies and these filters really help keep my home a safe zone. I run these throughout the day. It’s even great for white noise while sleeping. The filters are also relatively cheaper than others on the market. Highly recommend if you suffer with allergies.

I work from my apartment and I was sneezing well over 100 times a day and I was miserable. It went on for about 5 months and I finally thought about getting a good air purifier and filter. I don’t have allergies that I know/knew of but starting the day after using these 24/7 I sneeze maybe once per day! My dog has also stopped licking and scratching her ears which she did all day long. She doesn’t itch at all anymore. So these filters saved us both from whatever we were both reacting to in my apartment!
