That setting is a little loud, like a regular fan. After that, I've kept it on the low setting which is so quiet that I forget that it's running. The air has been so much cleaner. It's helped my wife with her allergies. I definitely recommend.

Since I have set this up in my living room , my house a smelled a little fresher . My house has always had that "old" smell if you know what I am taking about along with all the other average smells in a house . We can tell the difference . It has cut down on our pet dander and hair , I am very satisfied .

The size is perfect for my room, it doesn’t use up a lot of space. This purifier is great for bedrooms or any space up to 210 sq feet. The air purifier has three speeds and a filter life monitor so that you know when to change your filter. It helps so much with dust bunnies and pet hair. Both of my kids suffer from seasonal allergies and this air purifier is a lifesaver during those months were their allergens are high.

My nose feels less stuffy when I wake up and I swear i am sneezing less. There are 3 fan speeds. The lowest setting is very quiet but still moves a good amount of air. The highest setting is much louder but really gets the air circulating. I like the medium setting because it's the perfect white noise. The buttons are touch activated and light up but there is a night setting to turn the illumination off. I also love the feature that a button will turn on letting me know when the filter needs replaced since I can never remember on my own. This purifier is fantastic and I highly recommend.

I recommend this product it is not loud but looking at the filter I can see how nice and clean it makes my house! Normally I have issues with pet dander and being allergic and this keeps it down so I do not notice the pet dander!

Overall, when running it, it is quiet and doesn't add a whole lot to ambient noise in the home. I have been happy with the product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace a very old bedroom air purifier that is essentially white noise for bedtime. There are 3 fan speeds on this; low, medium, and high. The low mode is virtually silent. It doesn’t put off much of a breeze at all and would be great for someone who wants the air purification with no sound or breeze. Medium had a very low “hum” sound and still a fairly light breeze. High (my favorite) makes the true white noise sound that I need to sleep and does provide a bit of air circulation - but does not replace my ceiling fan. I love that this has a timer! So silly, but I can set for 8 hours and I actually think having it off will help me get out of bed in the morning. (Results TBD). I did think the Ion mode had a plastic smell when I tried it right out of the box. I noticed no difference in sound with the Ion mode but honestly haven’t used it since. This is a bit bigger than I anticipated but is perfect for what I needed! Also, love that this was ready to go out of the box!

She always keeps her door closed, and is approaching her teenage years so I wanted to see if Holme’s Air Purifier would help, and it did! After 1 night of running in her room I noticed much cleaner air the very next morning! We also have cats so im looking forward to trying this in the living room before my mother-in-law’s next visit. (Since she’s allergic). 5 stars to Holmes for making a great Air Purifier!

I am able have it sitting right by my chair because the noise is so minimal no need to turn up the tv. It is easy to operate. I like that I can set it for different amounts of run time with just a touch of a button no trying to program just push a button simple and easy. I am a heavy smoker and have already noticed a difference in the smoke lingering in the air.
