None of the poems were about home which was very misleading and disappointing, it hardly seemed like poetry at all, and they’re should’ve been a warning or something to make it obvious that part of it is borderline smut.

Not bad, but more suited for someone young who may be confused on love or going through heart break. Some quotes I felt spoke to me, but I was searching for comforting, uplifting words not so much sensual & dark. It’s still great words, but wasn’t what I was looking for.

Rupi does it again! Their use of language, organic streams of thought, and inclusivity in approach to grammar and structure is a 10/10! I highly recommend this to everyone!

This is bad, like really bad. If run-on sentences without the use of any proper grammer whatsoever is your thing, well its your lucky day! Eck! I believed I was getting some poetry for the soul and the description didn't match the real version in my opinion. This felt very much like a brief glimpse of one's trauma and all the negative thoughts in their head put on paper as "poetry." There is no flow. The writer constantly switches from dark and depressed to then full of light and confidence. The switches are too much. I do not call this poetry. I call this someone's negative thoughts put on paper. I was able to read this entire "book" in just about 30 minutes.

I love to read but lately have been having a tough time getting into books because of all the feels. This book is a balm for the soul. Beautiful. I never annotate my books but this one had so many jewels that I never wanted to forget that I couldn’t help but mark for later. I just want to hug and hold on to this one…It is very special during a very tough time. I will definitely be gifting this book!

Such a beautiful book. Rupi knows the best words to write to give the real, deep and heart wrenching feelings in her books. This is by far the best from her yet in my opinion.
