A:Â I bought this as a gift for someone else. When you take the rug out of the packaging, it does shed a lot. I'm sure you can bang off the shedding though.

I purchased this mat for outside my front door. When I opened the box, let’s just say it looks like it’s snowed in the box. I reread the reviews, many of which said it marked the concrete and did not do well in the rain. As I just moved into a new house, I did not want to take the chance of having concrete ruined so I put the mat inside the front door and converted it to an indoor mat because it is really cute. I am still on the fence but for a covered area or indoors, it is nice and it seems to have stopped shedding.
