The Honeywell QuietSet Mini Tower Table Fan is a slim and compact model that's ideal for cooling small areas of personal space. The aspects of comfort and convenience can be observed with the inclusion of Advanced QuietSet Control that allows owners to personalize sound and cooling power. An easy-touch display and 2-8 hour auto off timer have also been incorporated for increased ease of use. This table fan also carries the additional bonus of saving you up to 50% energy as opposed to AC motors. The slim design of the Honeywell QuietSet Mini Tower Table Fan makes it a natural addition for desktops, nightstands and other areas of personal space
This fan worked fine for a nightstand fan to get some air. However at any speed higher than the lowest, it's too loud for sleeping. The lowest does ok for wind on your face if its close to your bed. The light indicating which setting it's on is way too bright so I had to cover it to sleep. Also, the oscillator has suddenly broken and now it oscillates at random, which I can neither turn off nor on. Sometimes it doesn't oscillated, sometimes it starts off still and then begins moving in the night. Kinda freaks me out. Also the oscillating motor power thing makes a lot of noise and wakes me up. In the market for a new fan now.

This item replaced a small fan that cost half as much, but its stand broke after only a few hours of use. I do not anticipate that happening with this fan's design. It is quiet, and the air just seems to be "lighter" than the air that I received from the standard clockwise rotating blade fan that I had before. The footprint of the fan is also reasonable I am very happy that I bought it.
I was on a quest to find a desk fan for my cubicle, until I found this. I love the noises it makes for comfort and it packs a decent punch with wind power. I wouldn’t put my paycheck on it cooling off a whole room. But, it does my cubicle pretty well. I’ve had it for a couple months and so far, so good. If it breaks, I’ll update in my rage and sorrow.
