The Honeywell Cool Moisture Humidifier helps temporarily relieve dry air discomforts so you can breathe better and get a more comfortable night's sleep. The humidifier discharges invisible cool moisture in 2 moisture output settings and is an ideal fit for smaller to medium sized rooms. A wicking filter captures minerals from the water and helps prevent white dust in areas with hard water.
I have had this humidifier for about a year and I always thought it was doing something but I've still struggled to breathe at night in the winter months so I bought the Honeywell humidity tracker to see how much humidity my room is actually maintaining and this is only at 30% which is below average and explains why I still feel so dry. Maybe my room is just too big for it? Surprising considering in live in NY.
great quality easy to use and i don't know what anyone is saying when they say its too loud. i think its perfect but i also like background noise in my room when i sleep. i bought this after my son was born to help regulate humidity during dry months.
"Quiet" is false. This unit is very loud and the fan pulses, so it isn't a continuous white noise which would be great! Also don't want to mess with a filter, it seemed pretty gross after just a few days. Will be returning.
I have had this humidifier for about 1 year 6 months and it still works great. Make sure you use distilled water or if you use filtered water you can add a small amount of bacteriostatic treatment to prevent mold or algae growth. It keeps your filters fresh longer (Make sure to read the directions on the bottle as too much in the water can be dangerous) about 4 ML per gallon of water works well for us. Make sure you flip the filters every night. Using it daily, the filter lasts 4-5 months before needing replacement.
It worked for a week then filter started to fall apart and build up of black mold. I rinsed it out every night.
What junk. If you want to spent $30-$40 per month for filters this dehumidifier is for you. I trashed the dehumidifier and purchased a steam type unit. Of course I did not by Honeywell garbage.
