A: SpinScrub Powered hand tool was NOT included with this item. Ordered online and it was not included. Returned to store where staff opened 5 in-stock Power Scrub Deluxe boxes and none contained the advertised SpinScrub Powered hand tool. This issue has been reported previously and has still not been corrected in the description. Please update to avoid further disappointed purchasers.

A: Only reason I reported the previous answer is I ordered this model expecting it to come with the SpinScrub Powered Hand tool base on these answers, and sadly it did not. I’m definitely disappointed and want to make others aware, in case they make their purchase based on this promised feature. Thanks!

A: Instructions say to use no hotter than 140 degree water. This cleaned very well with this temp. I checked it with a thermometer the first time because I didn't believe it could work. My previous carpet cleaner had a heater in it--bought it specifically for that reason-- and it didn't clean half as well and cost twice as much. This model is a keeper.

A: It does have a hot air dryer built in. Not water heater.

A: No, it tells you for best results to use hot tap water when you fill the tank.

A: The answer from HooverUSA is WRONG! They are providing the answer for the wrong model >.< and they are suppose to be the manufacturer!! Shake my head. The FH50150 is the Deluxe version of the FH50140. FH50140 is Blue whereas the FH50150 is Red. And the Deluxe version (red) comes with more attachments, including a SpinScrub Powered Hand Tool, 6-inch wide Stair Tool, Upholstery Tool, and Crevice Tool. Whereas the FH50140 (blue model which is this one we are commenting about) comes with only the Upholstery Tool.

A: Cleaned my living room at night and it was dry by the morning so I can't say exactly how long it took, but I cleaned my area rug in the foyer in the morning and it took about about 2-3 hrs to fully dry

A: check the specs for weight, and any carpet cleaning solution is fine bissel, hoover, rug doctor, or make your own, with vinegar, and a drop of tide or dish soap. The vinegar with kill pet stains, and does not leave a film like some solutions do, and the tide or dish soap makes it smell nice
