Best of the Compleats. Excellent flavor, about 2 minutes to prepare. Great for seniors that do not want to spend a lot of time cooking- or cooking for 1-2 people. Add a tossed salad and some warm rolls if you have a bigger appetite. Hormel- you done good with this one.see moreof the reviewer's review

After giving such a bad review on the Roast Beef & Gravy with Mashed Potatoes I am happy now to give a better review. I do like the Beef Pot Roast very much. I eat complete meals all the time. Great for a widow, alone and doesn't cook any more. The potatoes, carrots and gravy are very good in the pot roast. However, the tiny slab of meat is a disappointment, especially since the picture shows nice, thick pieces. Maybe would be best to redo that picture.see moreof the reviewer's review

I would have given five stars if it hadn't been so salty. Of all the varieties of Compleats, this one has almost 50% more salt than any of the others. Lower the salt, and I will give five stars.see moreof the reviewer's review

Good taste, reasonable amount of carrots and potatoes. Easy to fix. Could maybe improve with a bit less gravy and another veggie (onion, broccoli?)see moreof the reviewer's review
