Q: Is the product meant for everyday hair styling? Wondering if it'll damage hair for long term use as the heat source is so close to the hair. Are we supposed to use the "cool" temp lastly to set the hair, or switch temps back and forth during the blow dry?

I have had the Revlon One-Step Volumizer for a few years now and always liked it. But this one really is an upgrade! I read the comments and noticed a lot of people felt it was too hot but if you have thick or heavy hair this is for you! The brush itself it much lighter than the revlon one and it has a couple settings to adjust the heat. It was worth it for me.

We had this dryer 8 days long enough to know we would keep it. Sent the box to recycling after 6 days of you. It over heated started smoking and once turned off remained extremely hot. After unplugging it waited for it to cool down, it will not turn back on. This is $70 of junk! If I could I would give it a -5 stars!

Great for my thick wavy hair. I have bleached my hair and of course looks frizzy if not styled, I used the revlon one first it worked fine but this is better. Not as heavy and not as loud. It’s still loud though :) But thank you whoever invented this product!

I’ve had it less then 6 months and now all of the sudden I used it my bathroom fills with smoke. It’s weird because it doesn’t smell like anything is actually burning. I use it only when my hair is at least 50% dry. Also all the bristles are starting to go flat and I never store it on its side to prevent that. Overall not a fan of this dryer.

This heat setting is too hot. It burns my hair and causes damage. Everything else I love about it. If it had varied heat settings for my hair type I’d would be perfect. They also offer a bundle with all of the attachments with some places. I wish target had that option.

Waste of money. Threw away after 3 months. Some bristles fell off or melted bristles to lay flat. All markings for setting rubbed off. Motor is so loud. It is not light. After use my hair became staticky, and didn't give my hair much volume.

It does work at giving me straight hair. I have long, medium curly/wavy hair mix. But I have had it for 6 months and for a half that time already the bristles were melted down. And it has made a weird clunking noise when I use it. Hasn’t affected the hair straightening until now but I am afraid that it’ll blow out the mechanisms inside and I’m afraid it’s about to die on me. So 6 months doesn’t seem like a long life to me. I really wanted to love it
