Description
Inside the barrel drum of the Hot Wheels Color Reveal 2-Pack are two 1:64 scale Hot Wheels cars covered in special Color Reveal coating. For the initial reveal, fill the drum with water and swirl each car in it until the water changes color, then pull the car out to reveal its sweet deco. To change its appearance again, fill the drum with icy cold water and dunk it in for yet another awesome transformation! Change it back by dunking it in very warm water. Alternate between icy cold or very warm water to repeat the color shift. The barrel drum doubles as a Hot Wheels dunk tank, and it's also perfect for storage! Each two-pack is sold separately, subject to availability. Styles, colors and decorations may vary.

A: As far as I can tell there are 10 different cars available for 2022. There were 24 different cars in 2021 (2 different sets of 12 cars were released). It seems like the 2 cars you get are random.

These are terrible. They were painted on in a glittery color (wheels and all), and upon putting them in water, the paint came off in flakes and that was all there is to it. No back and forth color change, basically two cars that were covered in washable paint. Can't believe this awful quality was from Target and not AliExpress/Temu

Once the initial color coat was washed off (which was messy in the car wash) the color reveal factor was done. No color shifting on the cars.

It was working changing colors while kids was playing with it then it stopped changing colors. I saw the grayish car turn red, & teal car turn dark blue. Now doesn't change. 😔 Kids was having fun idk why it stopped changing colors.

These are really fun in concept. I gave them to a young child to play outside with in their watertable. The paint sticks a little too well but maybe for an older kiddo it would come off a little easier. The surprise element was very fun and engaging.

My son played with these all day long. He received the mini bucket with two silvery purple (metallic-y chalky) paint coated hotwheels cars. They’re a little bigger than the original hotwheels cars, so I think worth the price of 7.99$ that I paid. I will be buying more. He enjoyed washing the paint off and then dipping in ice water and hot water. I only wish it came with another container for hot/cold water so he didn’t have to use mine lol!

They have a hot pink coding on them that took quite a while to actually get off. It was incredibly messy. I bought 2 for Easter. 2 car wheels were broken. They are really expensive for 2 hit wheel cars. Returning now.

The to my kids surprise the car itself then changes colour with different water temperatures. Lots of fun had with these.
