Book Synopsis

Nora and Adam are star adventurers trying to make a name for themselves. They use their skills as a chemist and a private investigator to unravel the mystery of how and why the Granger house burnt down.

In their effort to stop Ellene, they learn that Portland's dead townspeople will also rise up to thwart her efforts.
