Q: Can the USB-C port be used to charge the laptop?
A: Microsoft DOES allow the user to perform a 1 time escape from the S mode correct? Once you leave S mode, you cannot go back. But it makes the experience more like Windows we have known.

Q: The Target.com information states that the memory is 8GB x 1. HP says 4GB x 2. This is very important because it determines whether the machine has an empty slot to upgrade to 12 or 16 GB of RAM. This is something that I would love to know.
A: The HP information is correct-it has two slots with 4 gigabytes each. I've documented the error in the Target information so that they can correct it.

" Memory, standard 8 GB DDR4-3200 MHz RAM (2 x 4 GB)" Still doesn't say simply "two memory slots" one or both filled and a maximum memory spec..... I'd like to know as well. (a lot of entry level laptops are soldering the memory on the motherboard with no expansion or soldering the base memory on the MB and have only one slot available for expansion. this messes up dual channel memory access I imagine with differing sizes or memory types in the future...)

Q: What is Windows S Mode
A: Can S Mode be turned off? Windows 10 S Mode allowed the customer to do a non-reversible escape from S mode so that Microsoft Store and Microsoft Edge are not required.
