Affordable printer for basic printing needs. Printer always goes offline, difficult to connect to wi-fi, even after connecting and printing it goes offline again. Great price for a mediocre printer but it’s not worth the grief

Only witks on 2.4 ghz wifi which no one uses

I like the way HP printers look but they seem to work terribly. This one will only connect to my 2.4 ghz wifi network which is a guest network I had to create. But I don’t want to run any of my devices on this slower network so every time I need to print something I have to disconnect from my 5.0 ghz wifi and switch to the slower 2.4 in order to print. Then when I’m done I have to switch back. It’s ridiculous. I want to return this but I can’t find a small printer that looks good and works well.

Overall, I am very happy with this little printer. The only problem is scanning a document. There is not a tray or anything to put the document on. The document has to be held by hand until it starts feeding into the slot. This requires holding the document steady/flat and aligned with your left hand while using the right hand to move to the scan icon to click it to begin scanning.

It works great for my needs. So, glad the customer service helped me with this. A little bit take more time to install it the first time because i just have internet from my phone. After install, work great. I can print from my phone or laptop. I can't enroll with instant ink though because i don't have internet to connect it all the time.

Printer looks nice and prints well, but getting to connect to WiFi is a pain!!!! I could only get it to work if I connected USB or used the printer’s on WiFi network. Would not stay connected to my own WiFi. Frustrating, but in the end does the job.

i like hp products this shipping was real fast packed well and safe i hooked up to my PC desk top ( hp windows 11) pluged in the power put the ink tanks well in less then 20 minit., i was up and running the printer works great for me. the printer printed out the info about the printer i printed some documents and on a 4x6 photo paper glossy i printed about 3 pics its fine and the 2 ink tanks enclosed free HP-- thank you

This printer is awful. The alignment is always off, no matter how many times I try to correct it. The bottom of the page never prints. Anything black prints with white lines through them. You can see evidence of all of this in the attached picture.

Regret buying with every fiber of my being. Does not do double sided. Wastes ink. Difficult setup. Wonky paper loader that jams every 5 seconds. Do not buy this piece of junk.

The power cord would not stay in! We were very disappointed as we had to use the old HP power cord for our new printer and it made our older printer, which we hoped to use on an older computer, inoperable! This is a huge issue with HP plug ins!!!!
