I bought my first laptop and had it for two days until the screen started to glitch and freeze. I moved the mouse pad and every key but it was still frozen, had to completely shut it down various times. It did it again 3 times and had to return for a new one. I had to re-return the new one I had received because it would not turn on, it would barely show the white screen for less than 0.01 secs then it would turn off immediately. Another star for the customer service employees who were super understanding and nice! (:

I would not recommend this laptop to someone. When I first bought it, it was amazing. but not even a month in to having it, the computer had no storage space, so I was constantly deleting stuff off of this laptop. Always needing updates and is always popping up with ads. This was definitely the worst laptop someone could buy!

VERY slow. I tried do a video chat and after 10 minutes, the video had such a horrible lag, that I had to switch to my phone. The set up was easy but with nothing else running, I couldn't even get Google to open. Unless you are just looking for something to put on the shelf, not worth a purchase!

It was an easy purchase. I love my new laptop. It was easy to setup and easy to use. It’s lightweight also. There is no CD-Rom on this laptop. That would be the only drawback if you need To have this accessory. I sell on the internet, so it’s perfect for my needs.

Great laptop for basic, everyday use. Really light and portable. It has a 32GB hard drive, so you would have to use cloud storage, an external hard drive, or a flash drive to store files and photos to prevent your machine slowing down. If you need to install many different programs or are a gamer, this computer is not for you. If you do store your docs and pics somewhere other than the hard drive and still think the computer is slow, look at how many programs you have running at once. Intel’s Celeron is not the most powerful CPU, but it is extremely cost friendly and you get what you pay for.

I purchased this item from Target on Feb 9, 2017. For the past few months the computer has been trying to do a windows 10 update and keeps telling me there is not enough storage on the computer to do it. I had very minimal saved files, only a few word documents, so I deleted them. The C drive shows the computer is completely full but its all just system files that were loaded on there. SO I have no way to upgrade this PC. Decided I would just reset it and try to cut my losses and sell it to someone for $20 who might be able to get a little use out of it. Can't even reset the computer because there isnt enough storage. I feel completely ripped off, had the laptop less than a year when it started being unable to do the windows updates, and I can't even return it to Target for any sort of credit to get a laptop that actually works. Don't waste your money, do not buy this laptop.

I purchased this laptop . I thought was affordable. I am very disappointed with it . It has no space at all on it to get windows updates that provides help against viruses. There is nothing that can be done. I have the virus protection that came on the computer and I also bought and downloaded anti virus software . That is not enough when windows updates are very essential . I think it was just a money grab for hp . Why would they make a computer that cannot receive windows updates that they know are essential. Its not fair to the consumer unless they notify the consumer of this . Without windows updates the computer is at more of a risk for virused even with the added download of anti virus software. Invest the 200 dollars into a computer that can get necessary windows updates. If you don't worry about bad viruses it may be okay for you. Its just unfortunate not everbody knows about computers when they go to purchase them. I wrote this review to give the consumers a heads up. I don't want anyone scammed like I was. Hp is very unfair to not advertise the truth and take the consumers money.

Got this for my 14 year old to have a cheaper laptop for homework. She wanted white so this seemed perfect. It's a nice pure white, lightweight and sleek but that was all that was good about it. Even with an extra 20% off they had for electronics at the time, it still didn't make it worth the price. It was extremely slow in starting up and setting up the account/log in and kept giving an error saying the code that was given was invalid, which was directly text to us. It took about 2 hours for complete set up, not normal. Once set up it was so slow, we couldn't even tell if it was actually working or just super slow at processing things. It took 5-10 minutes to try & load a single website each time, or complete a task. It was used three times with the exact same results before taking it back for a refund.
