A: Hi, Ronni, While aluminum is the most durable outdoor material that will last for years in all climates, the black finish can make the set hot in direct in sunlight. The white seat cushions help mitigate this. Adding an umbrella would also help to keep the tabletop cooler. Thanks!

Q: Hello, i am seeing two different dimensions for table length, one says that the dining table is 69.2" long and in another place it shows that it is 47.2 inches long. Can you confirm?

If, like me, you're wondering why this aluminum patio set is half the price of other aluminum patio sets, let me shed some light. To start, the chairs come very well-packaged, but the table does not. The parts package was busted open in my box and all the bolts and washers were loose and clattering around; thankfully none were lost. The table top is shipped with only corner guards, so like another reviewer, I had two small dings in the sides of mine. I'm disappointed, but don't want to go through the hassle of returning it. It's easy to assemble and does appear well-constructed. It is the style and size I was looking for. The cushions are thin and firm, but a typical size, so easily replaceable. The chair arms have sharp corners, so I would not recommend for anyone with toddlers. Also, in the sun, you can easily see where/how the chair slats were connected to the frame, which makes the set look cheap. Overall, it's a functional and affordable option, but you get what you pay for.

2 of the chairs arrived damaged. One has a piece of very sharp metal sticking out of the chair. If you were to sit on it you would definitely be cut by the metal. The other chair has one leg that is completely bent so it tips over if you try to sit in it. The only option is to return the entire set which is a huge inconvenience, especially since we already put together the table. If you want to return you either need to dissemble and bring the entire set back to target or you need to repackage and ship yourself. Why should the customer be responsible for all of this extra work when I’ve paid for a damaged product.

This is a nice looking patio set. I was looking for a basic black aluminum patio set, and this was one of few options I found. I was concerned cuz all the reviews were part of a promotion, but glad I ordered it cuz it is a nice set. It arrived in 2 boxes and both were really beat up/ practically open. Thankfully no missing pieces. The chairs come fully assembled, but it takes a while to unpack and remove all the wrapping. Five of the 6 chairs had a bit of the black paint scraped off the seat surface (see pic). I figured I could just touch that up with rustoleum rather than deal with a return and see if the next set was better. And it’s mostly covered by the cushions anyway. The cushions are very flat and aren’t very soft - we’ll see how they hold up over time. The table just required the legs to be attached, so very easily assembly and can be done by 1 person.

The chairs come assembled and you only need to attach the 4 table legs. The set as a whole looks sturdy, but it is very light. The chairs maybe weigh about 10lbs, so a good gust of wind will blow them over. I will be buying some weights/sandbags to attach to each chair and the table since it is windy where I live. The table also has a hole for an umbrella, as well as height adjustments on each table leg to ensure that it is level and will not wobble.
