I love this toothbrush. My daughter can’t wait until she has to brush her teeth again. I really love that it shows you their progress every time they brush. It also shows you where they didn’t brush. Only complaint about this toothbrush is the fact that the sensors don’t always work. Sometimes it glitches and doesn’t catch that she is brushing. Despite this issue I highly recommend.

It’s a great concept and it really encourages proper brushing…in theory. I noticed my child’s teeth were starting to get yellow after about 2 months of using, but she gets a perfect score for brushing. The problem is it sometimes says it “can’t see your magic toothbrush” even though you are right in front and center of the app. My 7 year old learned that sometimes if it doesn’t see the toothbrush, it will recognize it if you keep still (not brushing). Then it rewards with gems and there is no brushing. Completely defeats the purpose.

I wish I could give it 10 stars! I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old. My 3 year old fights me on teeth brushing, twice a day, everyday and has been for as long as I can remember. I started looking for some tips and landed on this toothbrush. My 5 year old AND 3 year old now ask to brush their teeth twice a day and do a great job at it !! They love the games on the app and getting new filters. I wish I would have learned about this sooner!

This is the only thing getting my kid to brush his teeth. We love it! I do hope Colgate starts making non plastic and biodegradable replacement pieces. We’d love it even would be willing to pay extra to know we are not killing the environment to brush.

My 3 year old is real big into "power gems" thanks to Infinity War & Avengers so he gets excited to brush his teeth to earn his "power gems" aka diamonds. The app also has fun music and sounds as he's earning the gems, or as the germs are pecking his teeth, etc. It's on a timer and the germs move around his mouth to encourage even brushing. The app works by locating the colored dots on the end of the toothbrush, so it doesn't work well, especially since brushing some spots of the mouth require a weird angle for my son's arm. Overall I'd still recommend because it gets him to brush his teeth!

I love the idea of the app with smart technology to tell if they are brushing the various areas of their teeth. However, we had a TON of trouble getting this toothbrush to connect properly. We constantly received the error "I can't see your magic toothbrush", even though they were standing right in front of the screen. We would move around and still nothing. It was so aggrevating and then I ended up with misleading results. It would show they had barely brushed, simply because it kept losing connection the entire time. So I couldn't trust it. My kids liked picking out prizes for brushing their teeth, so if the exceution of the product was better, I'd be totally on board. But we have completely stopped using this and are just using cheap princess automatic toothbrushes now, without an app.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! But event better, my KID loves this toothbrush. We don't argue about brushing teeth, or how long to brush, or how to brush. He is very motivated to gain stars so he can "buy" more hats and other fun stuff. It was very simple to set up and get started. The manual toothbrush version is a great way to try it out. Now that I know he enjoys it, I might splurge for the rechargeable one.
