This 20QT IMUSA Steamer is made of Aluminum. It is durable and long lasting, and comes with its own aluminum lid, steam rack and two thick handles for easy handling. It is deal for Tamales or to steam seafood and Vegetables. IMUSA Tamale and Steamer Pots are versatile and durable for large-batch cooking. When the steam rack is removed you may use the steamer Stock Pot. Use your stock pots for soups, stews, stocks, beans, lentils, sauces, and pastas. They are even big enough for tons of corn on the cob or a lobster boil.

Q: What are the diameter and height of this 20 qt steamer (the actual pot itself) ? The dimensions given in a previous question calculate to a volume of almost 34 qts. I need the pot's dimensions to see if I can use it with my sous vide cooker.

It’s a good size pot and light weight, I purchased it only to use with the soups vide cooking, the prime roast or pork shoulder would fit in this. The inside did turn black, and I’m having trouble restoring it to the original state.
Only buy if you don't mind adhesive on outside that won't come off

Decent pot for the money. I purchased two. One for a rental property and one for our home. I've spent hours trying to get the adhesive sticker off the outside. I've tried ...soaking it, using adhesive remover and a hair dryer for heat which is supposed to help. Nothing works to completely remove it.

Pot was out of shape. Had to pound it back to circular so the lid would fit. And the inside turned black after first use. I tried scrubbing, vinegar, but didn’t work.

This is a nice size pot and I love the rack with it. We got this for shrimp and it hasn't let us down yet. It is very easy to clean and haven't had any issues with rusting or metal changing colors on us. Looking forward to making chili and soups in it this winter. WE have a big family of 8 kids so this pot comes in handy for lots of meals.

This pot SUCKS, it shake when on the stove had to place another pot on top of it to stop shaking, the bottom piece got stuck took an hour to get it up, and after steaming crabs u have to really scrub to get it clean and even after that it still didn't come clean wish I could return it but it's already used and only had it for a week a d used it only one time...PIECE OF CRAP
