It's a $14 rice cooker. It worked quite nicely. I had been meaning to purchase one of these for a while and I'm really happy with it. One bit of advice for care...no matter how sorely you are tempted to put the bowl in the dishwasher or scrape your cooked rice/quinoa around with a metal spoon, don't...see moreof the reviewer's review

IMUSA 5-cup rice cooker--Good but Small

I really like the rice cooker. However my two issues with it are that the 5 cup cooker says it makes 10 cups of cooked rice (for 5 cups of raw rice). I really doubt that it would as we make 3 cups of cooked rice and the cooker is almost up to the top of the pan. I would suggest you buy the next size...see moreof the reviewer's review

It came and I thought it would be a little smaller like for 1 or 2 people but this thing can make rice for the whole party! I kind of feel silly making rice for just 1 but it does it just as efficiently. I also tried making oatmeal with it and was grateful for how easy it is to clean.see moreof the reviewer's review

If you make and eat a lot of rice, this may be a great product for you. It makes a good amount of rice in a relatively compact space. Easy to use and clean-up. As a mom with a family, I would probably use a product with more functions. This would be ideal for apartment living or a couple. Overall, f...see moreof the reviewer's review

The lid doesn’t fit. Either the lid was made slightly crooked or the bowl. The lid doesn’t sit right. I have a 3 cup and 8 cup Imusa rice cooker and they are made right. Disappointed!!

Stopped working

I got this as a gift for my wedding and although it made pretty good rice, it got rice water everywhere every time I cooked in it. We had to put paper towels all over the counter and the other appliances when we used it. After less than 9 months, it stopped working halfway through cooking. Just stop...see moreof the reviewer's review

Spewed rice and stopped working

We used it to make rice for about a year and a half, and it spewed rice everywhere every time. Also, all of a sudden it just stopped working one day. Would not recommend. With rice cookers, it seems like you get what you pay for....see moreof the reviewer's review
