good for the money

This works really well--especially if you put wax paper on the top and bottom of your disk of dough. It's an incredibly good deal for the money and I liked that it came with an extra pin for the lever. I would recommend this to anyone who has a skillet to cook the tortillas in and doesn't feel like ...  see moreof Cindy K's review

This tortilla press is high quality, easy to use and a fantastic bargain! I looked at many other similar presses, but this one was unmatched in quality. I've already made over 400 hundred tortillas with it and have experienced nothing but joy in making them. Thank you Target for carrying such a wond...  see moreof James Fox's review

We use the tortilla press to make tamales. It flattens the masa evenly on the corn husk so you don't have tamales that are too doughy. You do need to use wax paper for the other side so it doesn't stick but it cuts the time in half to make a large amount of tamales.  see moreof Bambi's review

Handle Broke Off (on first use)

I'm a novice to making tortillas, but used a rolling pin before buying this tortilla press. While the press did make the job easier, my husband snapped off its handle using it. Even though it is very heavy, we weren't too impressed with the durability.  see moreof Rebs's review

I would not recommend this product to make tortillas. I bought them to make Indian tortillas which are thinner than conventional ones and the product does not work for the conventional tortillas or the indian tortillas. They are super thick and I wanted the tortillas to be thinner. The finish is qui...  see moreof JJV's review

We wasted our money. If the black finish can accidentally be scratched off, it's going to end up in our food. I don't know what that gunk is, but I don't want anymore exotic substances in my body. Furthermore, this press will not even flatten the dough, probably because, in spite of its burly lookin...  see moreof Somebody's review
