Mine was broken as well when I received it. I just glued it myself. I love the way that it mashes. I use it for mashed potatoes and refried beans and it works great. They just need a better glue for that little metal piece and it would be perfect.

Mine also came broken. It’s not like it hard to fix but you don’t expect to “fix” something when just purchasing it

When came to pick it up the metal piece on the bottom of the wooden handle was fallen off and it was the last masher in the store so I had to glue it together later. What made me mad the most is that it scratched my brand new pan. And the last, after washing it there was a rust on the metal.
Masher works great, love the wood handle and the price was very low
