Depending on the time of year I use 308 sun beige, 309 caramel beige, and 310 classic tan in the total cover foundation! I love them! I get so many compliments on my skin. It feels so light and looks flawless. I do have a question. What numbers would be the same in the fresh wear foundation? I would like to try it but not sure what colors to get. Thank you!
I bought this a few months back . I bought 420 and it was just to light so I ended up buying 445 and it matched great.Anyway for years I used 2 other competitors "all day" foundation. I started having color match issues and my ski looked dry. So I tried the new Infallible and I wear it everyday.I work in a hot environment and it looks great after working all day. Here is something i do that most of you haven't tried. I do not use a brush but teh actual beauty blender you get at Ulta.I have the L'oreal one also it also works. Once you moisten the beauty blender and apply it is flaweless. Pictures look great also . Finding the correct color was a bit tricky. I am 40 also.I recommend a good moisturizer like a gel moisturizer.I do not use a primer underneath either.I haven't went back to my old foundation either.
Gave this foundation a shot for 2 weeks and it's just not for me. I like to point out I'm in my forties and have combination skin. It looks chalky on me and clings to dry places on the sides of my nose. I've used it with and without primer. I always moisturize my face and this stuff made my face look dry. I would say this is a medium coverage not a full coverage and it's not for women over forty unless you have perfect skin.
I am an esthetician and huge foundation snob..lately I've been on a mission to find my perfect shade & foundation again after using Laniege Hydra Radiance cushion foundation, shade #23 (Sand) for a long while. I usually prefer a light coverage foundation & that one works great for me in the winter when I am more fair and my skin more dry. However, since I did wind up suffering from stress induced acne, I now have scarring I want to cover, and I'm slightly darker (despite my use of sunscreen). I had been looking at the Morphe Fluidity, the latest Smashbox foundation and the Anastasia Beverly Hills. But this Infallible foundation kept catching my eye and finally, I decided to try it. The shade 445 is *perfect* for my light/medium olive/neutral undertone skin. I have an unusual combination of undertones & shade (but a normal skin type) and it is often difficult for me to find precise shade matches to my skin (I strive for an exact match). So when I find something, I am beyond thrilled...the finish is natural & radiant with a dampened beauty blender, is more finished & fuller coverage (but still beautiful & fresh looking) when applied with a Morphe Y6 brush. So happy with this foundation!! I also love the SuperX fiber mascara made by L'Oreal as well, and I often recommend it to people! Best drugstore mascara out there.
The foundation is very thin and is easy to apply on the face, however, it did not last on my skin. I have normal skin, but I live in a humid climate and by the 6th hour of wearing this it was already separating and breaking apart on parts of my skin. It also creased in my smile lines and on my forehead very early in the day. It almost seemed as if the foundation began to melt off my skin.
