Q: Does this work with the older model as far as adding cameras? Can I still use my old camera and add this in addition?

A: Unfortunately not. The DXR-8 PRO is using a different platform and can't work with the DXR-8 addon camera.

A: There's a screw mount hole on the bottom of the base of the camera unit. This can be used to mount the camera onto walls.

A: Infant Optics baby monitors come with 110v-240v compatible adapters and will work in any country without voltage converters. However, The plug is a US standard plug and you may need to purchase a separate plug compatible to the wall socket of the country you will be using the baby monitor in.

The monitor and camera system are so easy to use! The quality is great and the customer service is impeccable. I had to return a camera that I received from a baby shower due to the thermometer not working properly and the service I received was outstanding. Only deducted a star for issues with the thermometer and I wish the alerting system included too high or too low temperatures not just the connection being lost.

Hands down one of my most favorite baby shower gifts! I absolutely love this monitor. I ordered an adapter on Amazon that I can attach to the bassinet while she is small, and eventually the crib when she transitions to the nursery. I would buy this monitor 10 times over. The camera moves quietly and the picture quality is great. The monitor is easy to use and I love that I can unplug it and take it with me anywhere.

I bought my infant optics camera/monitor in April and all of a sudden the monitor stopped working. I tried all the troubleshooting with the customer service and nothing worked. Thank goodness I was still within my warranty period and customer service worked with me on getting a new one in the matter of days after talking to them. Other than the issue with the monitor itself I’ve had no other problems and still like my infant optics.

We were gifted this monitor for our first baby and have been using it ever since. Other than the ANR going in and out at times, we’ve loved it and had no issues. We recently received a second camera for our new baby and all was working great, but recently the sound stopped working on the monitor. We tried all the troubleshooting and even contacted Infant Optics customer support for help. All they could offer was information for making a warranty claim, which is only available within a year and not an option for us. Now we have to purchase an entire new monitor. Overall would not recommend based on the lack of longevity.

We've used this monitor for a little over two years and we love it. The images are clear and we can connect up to 4 cameras. I love how it has the temperature as well as the time displayed on the screen. It also gets great range, which is why we chose it from the beginning. I had an issue recently and customer service was fantastic! Highly recommend!

Overall, this monitor is great. It picks up even the slightest sounds in the room and is very clear. We had an issue with the buttons getting stuck and the batter, however I reached out to customer service and they were very quick to help. They sent us a replacement monitor, which seems to work well.

I received this baby monitor as a gift at my baby shower, and I specifically wanted a non-Wi-Fi option. This monitor has exceeded my expectations! Although I had an issue with charging, customer service was prompt, helpful, and kind. After providing a few details, they quickly sent me a brand new monitor and charger, all within my warranty period. Setup was SO easy and the ANR feature is awesome. I like that you can add multiple cameras to it. The only downside is it doesn’t hold a charge as long as I would like but the cord to charge it is pretty long so it’s not really an issue. Emma from infant optics was quick to help when we had an issue and get a replacement sent to us. We love this monitor and I would recommend it!

Great monitor but awful battery life. The monitor needs to be charged constantly throughout the day and the monitor has its own charger instead of a standard USB so you need to bring the specific charger with you when traveling/leaving the house. It’s very inconvenient and for the price of this monitor it should really hold the battery life longer or the charger needs to be made the standard USB

Monitor works great the anr feature is amazing it blocks out the sound machine. I like that you can blacken the screen with 1 tap so it’s not bright all night. You can pretty much turn the camera in a full circle to get the best view. 10/10

I think the picture quality is fantastic, especially for the price. It has also taken many, MANY drops and still works. However, the battery won’t hold a charge to save my life. When used for nap time, I need it to be portable, so I can clean. It won’t hold a charge even through just a nap… very frustrating.

Love this camera and the fact that it’s not on WiFi. The monitor had issues, but the customer support with the company went above and beyond to fix the issue. We were outside the year warranty, but they still honored the replacement. It came quickly and the replacement works great!
