Into The Badlands Season 1

AMC's authentic, high-octane martial arts drama Into the Badlands is set in a post-apocalyptic future, in a feudal land controlled by several rival barons. In the Badlands, only the strongest and most brutal prosper. Guns have been eradicated, and fighting is a means of power and control. Barons enforce their iron rules with the aid of loyal armies of trained assassins known as Clippers. Clippers begin their rigorous martial arts education as children, when they are known as Colts. Each Colt is selected and mentored by a senior Clipper, who oversees the youth’s training. Clippers enjoy status and comforts that the general population can only dream of, and in return, are willing to sacrifice their lives in service to their Barons. Into the Badlands tells the story of a ruthless, well-trained Clipper named Sunny, and a young boy, M.K., whom Sunny selects as his Colt. The two embark on an odyssey across a dangerous land that could mean the difference between chaos and enlightenment for everyone in the Badlands.
