IRIS 32qt Letter Plastic File Box

Very thin walls and flimsy. It’s so brittle that An object fell on a this and it cracked and pieces flew off! IRIS containers used to be high quality now it’s 99 cent store quality. Did I mention that it reeks? I washed and aerate it out and after weeks it still smell of strong plastic! This can’t be healthy. DO NOT BUY!

Exactly what you would expect and want

Item serves it’s purpose & is as hoped for. I ordered 2 sets of the 3-count option and every piece (6 boxes & 6 lids) were in perfect condition. All the lids properly click/seal on top of the boxes. I appreciate the gray color as it’s a pleasant color (not harsh, like black)—I didn’t want a fully transparent box bc I worry about the eventual discoloring. Anywho, file folders fit nicely. I would definitely order again if/when the need arises. Hoping these withstand the test of time and that they don’t get discontinued, should I need more.

We purchased these in a set of 3. They are great quality and stack well. We only needed 2 for legal and letter length documents. The 3rd box worked great for storing some cherished Christmas decorations that are breakable. It's so nice to have a sturdy well made box to keep these breakables safe.

It’s versatile but really shines in storing your papers & folders. I purge our household files each year and this is a big improvement over our previous storage bin.

It's not too big so I feel like I can carry it without much assistance even when it gets really full. The plastic doesn't bend very easily and the lid fits perfectly. It's a high quality box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The file box has a channel on all four sides so it can be used with both letter and legal hanging file folders making this a great choice option for home filing or as a sturdier replacement cardboard bankers boxes. As someone that has had cardboard bankers boxes get damaged in flooding myself and having seen former employers damaged by mice, trust me, having the extra protection of the sturdy plastic is a really nice option that you won't regret. The lids lock on securely but do not seem thick or sturdy enough to stand up to stacking when full. We all know bankers boxes full of files are quite heavy and I don't think these would hold up to stacking without the lids cracking. Personally, I would not recommend stacking these unless they had very few files inside but they would be a great option if you have shelving.

Its just a little bigger than a large envelope so everything fits nicely inside without getting messy and unorganized. The lids comes on and off easily but stays tight.

I found myself in a situation where I needed to soak my feet but my feet are pretty big and I didn't have access to a tub. This container handled it without a problem. Later I used it to give my cat a bath in. Yeah it's for files... but it can handle multiple use situations. Highly recommend.

I had some items from an additional tree that I put up this year for Christmas and needed something that was lightweight but not huge and helped protect the non breakable ornaments but kept them from losing stones and sequins. This tote was PERFECT. I do wish the lid was a little bit more Heavy duty so other small things could stack on top but it does hold some weight. Overall I like it for its size and weight because it’s easy for me (5 ft) to handle without any issues.

I’m currently storing clothes in it, and it seems pretty sturdy. I also like the way the lid fits on the box.

I was leary of any product due to the nature and importance of the papers. I liked that was weather sealed. I got it as a short term solution until I get a fire safe box, all my documents are safe and sound inside, and I will be able to put it to use again and again due to it being quality made..
