Disregard the negative reviews. Great product although it took me a couple of hours to assemble solo. High end look for a quality bed. I’m not complaining at all. I spent a measly $200 for a really nice bed! I’m a happy camper!

Do Not Purchase

Extremely regret purchasing this item, yes it might look nice but was an absolute NIGHTMARE to assemble, the directions make no logical sense and take a lot of improvising and guessing. After 7 hours of assembly the bed continues to be terrible because the slats used for support quite literally just rest in little plastic holsters and don't fit tightly, therefore multiple slats fall down almost every other night. I have to lift my mattress off of the bed routinely in order to reposition the slats that fall every time I sit on the edge of the bed or don't get out of bed too carefully (ridiculous). Not only that, but for no reason at all one of the slats is now close to completely splitting in half. I just tried using wood glue to keep the slats in place, but even this is not working well. Do not purchase this bed unless you enjoy being stressed/sleeping crooked/lifting mattresses on regular basis!

Bed looks good put together, but the average person will not be able to understand these directions. I was trying to save money (bought this bed on sale), but in the end I had to pay someone to put the bed together. We were able to put about 1/2 of it together, so luckily I only paid someone from TaskRabbit for 1.5 hrs of his time. The bed looks as pictured when it's put together and is a nice looking bed. Also, agree with the other review you need a 12+ mattress. Mine is 13 and fits perfectly.

After reading the other reviews, I hired someone to help me put it together. He said the instructions "looked like they were drawn by a two year old." But once it was assembled, it looks very nice and the quality is good. Considering the price, I think it was a great deal. It definitely looks like it cost more. One word of caution: unless you have a foundation or box spring, a 10" tall mattress is not tall enough- big gap between the beginning of headboard and the mattress, which looks bad. I would say 12" and above, you're in the clear.

Although this bed is very cute it was very difficult to assemble. The instructions is strictly pictures which don't get wrong illustrations are helpful! The illustrations for this item were difficult to understand, not clear! And I'm pretty sure I did not do somethings right. I recommend having the bed pre assembled if possible!
