The Jartop Elite Backpack from Embark™ is the only backpack your kid will ever need. This softside backpack features a spacious main compartment with interior accessory, mesh and laptop pockets, as well as three exterior zip pockets, providing them with loads of space for binders, electronics and other school supplies. It even has a mesh side pocket that's perfectly sized for holding water bottles, their glasses case and more! The adjustable straps allow for comfortable, customizable carrying, and it also features a top web handle so they can carry it by hand if desired.

Q: Are the side pockets durable enough to hold a heavy thermos?

A: i had one last year and the side pockets slowly got bigger and bigger holes in them until the end of the school year when the pockets could barely hold the thermos anymore. so yes to an extent

Lightweight, holds a ton of stuff, and seems to be quite sturdy. LOVE the jartop closure. Much easier access especially when you’re not using it for books. I’ve used this for two outdoor field trips I chaperoned for my kid’s school, and it was very comfortable and seems to be holding up well. I also really like that it has a lot of pockets, including two water bottle pockets. I like the configuration of the pockets, too. Great bag. Happy with the purchase. 4 stars on value as it’s not like a stellar deal or anything, but well worth the money. Would be happier if I could have snagged it on sale, but I needed it right away. And nothing is really a great value anymore so don’t judge it on that. It’s a really great bag so far.

I bought this backpack at the end of the school year (June 2023) My son starting using it this year for two months. We’ve had this backpack for four months and it is completely ripped inside making two pockets one. It’s ripped at the inside seam so it will eventually fall apart. For the price, it is very cheaply made.

Absolutely love this backpack!!! For almost 3 years I have used it everyday, I put a half gallon stainless steel jug of water, plus a 32oz one, lunch, my purse, headphones, cables, chargers, makeup bag and a laptop in this 5 days a week! I have started using it as an weekend overnight bag, so I am going to get another one this weekend (if it’s on sale, I will buy 2).

Booksack fell apart after 6 weeks of use. My f daughter loved the size and design but the material was flimsy it couldn’t hold up to weight of her school books. I have never had a backpack fall apart so quickly

So far, so good - no...so GREAT. My 2 high schoolers love these...the bag's depth exceeds most others we've bought, plus the jartotp opening, holds more stuff, keeps it more secure AND makes it easier to get things in and out. Lots of great pockets to stay organized (at least in theory). Colors are great, material is lightweight, water resistant (in theory) and looks great. I'm a little worried about how well they will hold up since my kids load too much stuff in there...but they've proclaimed them the best backpacks of their school careers (10th and 12th grade...so a lot of backpacks). I just bought a 3rd on sale!

Ripped the second week of school :( defintely a fault in the construction since it was barely used. We we’re so excited for this bag, lots of room and compartment but came apart around the jar top near the zipper seam. I tried to sew it but I can tell it’s not going to hold. Invest in a better brand, like Jansport.

I love these backpacks because they have the widest opening. My kids can easily access their binders, laptop and whatever else without the struggle. I do wish the straps were a little more durable, the stitching gets stretched and needs to be reinforced, still worth it though
