I really like these for two months paired with my Apple Watch but now I have daily problems. I contacted JBL support and they just told me it’s because Apple Watch is made to be receiver of a Bluetooth signal. Sound quality was good and so is the microphone. The tap feature works pretty well and isn’t ultra sensitive.

I have owned these for about 8 months and despite the adequate sound quality, there are a number of severe issues plaguing these earbuds. First, the connectivity became inconsistent after about 5 months. This was annoying but I lived with it. Second, the right earbud became difficult to get to charge, this has reached the point it is essentially not functional. Unfortunately Product Support was only able to suggest a few standard troubleshooting tips after which I was left on my own with an unusable set of earbuds. I suggest carefully reading the reviews on other JBL earbuds as well as this problem seems persistent across most of their wireless earbuds.

From what I can tell the earbuds themselves never shut off until they've completely run out of battery. That includes while they are in the charging case. I even tried putting a hair tie around the case just make sure it wasn't coming open and activating them. I did an experiment where I let them charge to 100% both the buds and charging case and left them alone for a couple of days. Prior to writing this review I went to put them in and the app stated that the buds were both at 10% and the charger was at 48%. I put them back and checked again after a few minutes and now it's saying that the left bud is at 80% and the right is at 50% but the case is still at 48%. So unsure if the app actually functions properly. I'll also add that the case will not charge the buds unless you have it standing straight up which is not going to be convenient unless you charging cable much longer than the one that comes with it. As far as sound quality, they're alright. I've bought cheaper headphones that have sound better though. I got these on sale for 50% off and feel I paid too much.

We're here to help with your JBL Tune 230NC TWS. We recommend cleaning the contact pins on the case and earbuds using a cotton swab with alcohol. These pins are sensitive to dust. Please ensure the pins are dried before placing them back on the case. It is also necessary to reset the earbuds by tapping one of the earbuds twice and holding it for 5 seconds on the third tap. Put the earbuds back in the case to complete the reset. Resetting your earbuds will erase all previous settings and pairings. Please remove or forget the earbuds from the list of paired Bluetooth devices before pairing them again. If you need more help, we'd like to work with you directly. Please contact our customer support for assistance.

These ear buds are awful. I am on my third pair. They LwYs end up loosing sound in the right ear bud. And they lost sound on both ear buds on my third pair. I have loved Jbl Bluetooth speakers, but these ear buds are trash. I got a pair of PowerBeats pro by Dre.

8 months later and the left earbud dies quickly and won't fully charge. Audio also drops at random times, forcing me to unpair and pair again to fix the issue. The earbuds sometimes won't turn off while their in the case either.
