I bought a package of your ground Turkey as i always do. I made burgers for myself and my toddler. Half way through my burger there was a severe crunch. I fished out a chunk of GLASS! I am appalled and highly upset. Luckily it was my burger and not my barely 2 year old. I demand that i hear back from someone! This is outrageous. No i did not break any glass, no someone else couldn't have done it. This is unacceptable!

I have for years used it as a low-fat protein choice over beef. I always, since 1989, have made my turkey meatloaf. Friends and family rave!!! I use the large 3lb turkey, 1lb ground chicken, 1 lb Italian sausage. I also put shredded carrots, onion, and a ton of garlic! Recently we found out that my husband's kidneys are not processing correctly and needs low protein, and now salt!! Ground turkey has more than I'm happy with, but is still lower in salt than chicken.

This batch of turkey meat had a strong scent(not good). The smell was equally as pungent. Could not mask the taste and smell with all the seasoning I put in it. I got into a argument with my wife accusing her she got a different variety( thanks jennie-o).

Dinner was planned to be shepherds pie (3/21/22) so I ask my husband to bring home groceries, including the ground Turkey from Jennie O we usually get. I take the package and start sautéing the ground Turkey, and noticed a strange metallic smell. I didn't think much of it and added shallots and other veggies, but the smell got worse and worse. We decided to add some wine to see if the smell would go away or if the taste would get better, but it didn't. My husband always makes sure to get the latest expiration date he can, and this was supposed to be good until the 28th. We had to throw out the batch along with the other veggies, and it felt like a total waste of time, money and vegetables.

I have such a hard time stir frying your ground turkey without feeling sick. Your grind looks like my turkey chili is actually worm chili! Eek...! It tastes fine maybe just change your methods or blades? I hate to but I'm going to have to change brands...the family just can't ignore the appearance.

The smell both uncooked and cooked is terrible and the taste was very strong. I was concerned that was a recall or something that is how I found this website and looks like this is a repeated issue.

This is the second time I've bought this particular kind of ground turkey and both times I knew when it was cooking it was off. It smells, which it should not. It tastes gamey, which it definitely should never. So mad I wasted my money on this product I had to throw away.

I like the turkey - consistently good flavor. I'm not sure I can justifiably continue buying the product as the white plastic container has no recycling number on it and I'm afraid I'm just buying more plastic that I have to put in the trash.

Ive been buying this product for over 15 years. It use to make reallly good sloppy joes and burgers. Recently while it was cooking I gagged and threw up from the horrid smell. I've been eating Jennie-o ground Turkey meat for 20+ years. My last (4) recent packages had an awful smell! They were all purchased before the freeze by dates, and cooked within a month of freezing. The smell was so bad, that I had to throw both dinners I made in the trash. Disappointed to say the least.
