very fresh
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not expecting such a high quality. I loved how it was not frozen and was fresh. It was easy to cook ( I made tacos) the taste was not dry at all. It is a very good alternative to beef if you want to make healthier choices.

Great tasting, lean protein
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Jennie O lean ground turkey free from Bzzagent in exchange for my honest review and truly it came at the perfect time! Fall is falling and it's time for hot soups and stews in my house! I used the ground turkey to make a delicious turkey chili. It cooked up perfectly and was a hit at our latest tailgate party! Absolutely recommended!

Great product! A healthier option to dinner!

I really enjoyed having a different healthier option for dinner. I used the ground turkey to make both tacos and hamburgers and both dishes cooked up great. I especially liked that the ground turkey was lower in calories and fat and cooked up quickly on a stovetop or grill. My family enjoyed both dishes. I will definitely buy this product again and try other varieties of this brand.

Jennie 0 sausage is amazing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very spicy and good flavor. It's just like a sausage should be, with a little bite to it. The texture is great. It browns well and yet stays super tender on the inside. Not at all rubbery. It is a very good option if you are trying to cut down on red meat. It's very close to the pork. I'm not sure most people would be able to tell the difference in a blind test. Maybe from the texture, which is better than pork.

Great-tasting and versatile

Love to use this to lighten up heavy dishes.

I mixed with beef and sausage to make an incredible lasagna and no one could tell there was turkey in it. I've used turkey patties before that had a distinct taste, but this is much better.

Good product
I have been buying this for the past 6 months and haven't had any issues with bones. I make tacos, sloppy Joe's, meatloaf with no problem. I am disappointed the plastic container is not recyclable. I don't understand how one 1 lb package had 1/2 cup of fat to drain and another one 1/4 cup or less. Great source of protein and easy on the budget.

Always short on weight
I purchase the 3lb product regularly, then divide the package into 1 lb portions as soon as I get home. Everytime the total weight is more than 3 ounces shy. Today the package was a FULL half ounce short.

Hi, thank you for taking time to review our product. We are sorry to hear of your experience. Turkey is a high moisture meat and meat purges over time. The soaker pad is absorbing the purge and the result is a ground product that appears to be underweight because the consumer is portioning it out and cannot recover the lost meat juice.

Poor food handling
Very disappointed with this purchase. I bought ground turkey on 9/7 with an expiration date of 9/17, but when I opened it, the package was noticeably swollen and the meat did not seem safe to use. This store recently underwent renovations, and the refrigerated section had been heavily disrupted, so I’m concerned about how the cold-chain handling was managed. Customers should be able to trust that refrigerated meat is being stored safely.

I recently purchased ground turkey after cooking it, I tasted it to check whether it needed any additional salt or seasoning. While doing so, I found multiple pieces of bone in the ground turkey. I am very concerned that your product is being sold under these conditions. Finding pieces of bone in ground meat is a serious safety concern and could potentially cause injury, especially to children or elderly individuals. How many other customers have already been affected by this issue? I strongly urge you to investigate this matter immediately and take the necessary steps to ensure that this product is safe before continuing to sell it under these conditions. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed promptly.
