Jennie-O Oven Ready Young Turkey - Frozen - 12lbs

I enjoyed this- simple and tasted good! I don’t have a big freezer or kitchen so the quick defrost to freezer and no prep was great! Would definitely buy again! But also think maybe would cook it at 350 instead of 375 for little shorter time.

Since I’m not the greatest chef in my family, but for once I wanted to impress my family and friends with my cooking skills on my first Thanksgiving dinner at home five years ago. Found this product and was very helpful and since then I’ve been using it. The only problem is that it’s getting a little difficult to find at my local grocery stores. Not only it tastes great it was simple and easy to cook.

Turkey was good but I would make at 350 for 2-3 hrs. If I wouldn't of checked it after 2-3 hrs it would been to dry. When I usually make in bag it's more like 350 2hrs perfect. I recommend after 2 hrs continue to ck often.

I don't really cook, but this year we were unable to be with our extended family so I decided to cook a turkey. This one was perfect- don't have to do any of the gross stuff just literally take it out of the outside bag and put it in the oven for about 4 hours. Came out moist, tender, and well seasoned. Easy peasy, lemon squeeze!

Had to buy a turkey the night before Thanksgiving due to a flight cancellation and had to stay home last year. . Didn't have time to buy and thaw a turkey the night before...Loved the convenience of this turkey. I loved it. Unfortunately they are hard to find every year... They also have a turkey breast, I plan on trying it too.

I am a big fan of thanksgiving. I have always had someone else prepare the turkey as I feared ruining it. I tried out this product and was able to make a great turkey. It was pre-seasoned and juicy! I felt like it was breaking all the laws of cooking a turkey cooking it from frozen - but wow! it worked.

Easiest prep - heat oven, couple holes in bag, pop it in the oven ... 4 hrs later a great dinner with juicy turkey and enough for sandwiches the next day!

I purchased this for the first time and cooked it according to the instructions. It looked like puss oozing from the bag. I threw it in the trash.

Absolutely astonishing invention as well as ( delicious taste) Thanksgiving I spent the entire day preparing and roasting Turkey! So before Christmas I actually ran across this Turkey to oven with no thawing Turkey! Was skeptical at first no way I thought! But after reading instructions I decided to try this Turkey! Fabulous Christmas dinner made so simple! This Turkey is already seasoned and put in a oven bag ! With a pop out red thermometer that lets you know when Turkey is done! Making life less stressful! Thank you so much for a outstanding product! 😊

Honestly this is the best turkey I have ever tasted period. The seasoning was extra special with every piece moist

I found this product by accident four years ago while looking for a traditional bird. A little cautious but decided to go with it. So glad I did. It's easy and delicious. I don't know if it comes in larger sizes but the 12 lb feeds about 10 when served with sides.

I bought these turkey for years and LOVED it. Unfortunately since Food Lion has closed, I am unable to find them locally.

This was great turkey and not dried out. Not the pressed meat either. Have two since Thanksgiving. Thanks Jenny-o

I really enjoyed the stress free ease of the oven ready turkey. I tried my first one last year and it turned out great! Thinking I just lucked out, I tried it again and was again impressed. Turkey was SO juicy! I am doing one for Christmas this year.

When I saw this in my local grocery store, I thought it was a great idea!! I could have my favorite part of the turkey without all the big mess and waste of doing a whole one - or one of those yucky rolled, string tied roasts. Directions couldn't have been easier. But - was horribly disappointed with the taste! Salt City!! Good grief - what's it doing to my already high blood pressure??! In addition, it sort of tasted like turkey under all that sodium, but wasn't quiet - was a bit different. As much as I love the idea, the convenance, I can't take that much sodium - there ARE other flavorings, spices besides salt - onions, garlic, sage to name a few. Or maybe even (novel idea!) unseasoned. Actually, would be really great if there was an option where the cook could add their own spices before closing the bag! The gravy packet was ok, but as you added the drippings from the over salted turkey breast to it, the gravy was over salted too. So, in spite of it seeming like a good idea, it is not. No, do not recommend, health wise, cannot afford to buy again.

i love it i cooked it wednesday night we did not eat it till friday we left it in the bag it still was juicy and good i thought it would be mush nope i think folks who is complaining did not cook it long enough' i would buy this again and i will yall should make a ham lol

Turkey was easy to cook and so juicy! The best part was that they use rice flour in the gravy mix, so the gluten sensitive in our family were able to have gravy, for once! 10/10 recommend.

Paying almost 30 bucks for this poor excuse for a turkey, was sheer stupidity on my part. But, I thought Jenny O is a good product. Taste test proved otherwise. I had read the ingredient label and wondered if the additives would effect the taste, well they did. My son didn't like it either. It didn't taste like turkey. It would come in at a close second to a British turkey. Yuck. Will not buy again.
