Q: How do you raise the main bar? We opened it and put on the wheel but can’t get the bar with the handles to lift off the foot pad. Also, our didn’t come with instructions though it seems pretty self explanatory except for this part. Thank you

A: I figured it out. There is a ridged area at the bottom of the stem. This is like a quick release lever. Hold the entire scooter unopened but stem upright, push down on that ridged area, to unfold the scooter. You could never figure this out from the instructions!

While pressing down on the gray bearing on the stem, release the deck to lock the stem into place. 3. Once the scooter stem is locked upright, adjust the height of the stem by tightening the stem clamp located near the handlebars. 4. Press the black button located on the stem to your desired height. This is actually our second one of these. The first one had the same issue but I contacted the customer service number for Jetson and they replaced it without any hassle. They didn’t make me send it back so I took it apart, and the plastic holding the pins is thin. That’s why there’s a few saying it won’t stay up. If your kid is rough they’ll break the mechanism.

I liked everything about this scooter it’s versatile to meet child’s height. It smooth yet rugged for child handling. Lights are a bonus they light up bright and are fun. The lights on wheels need a bit more effort from rider, you need to be rolling a bit fast so they can light up while spinning.

We've bought the scooter to our son, he really liked it! But in 3 weeks we've realized the screw on a handle was broken so we were unable to fold/unfold the scooter it was in the unfolded position forever. So I called the company and explained to them and sent them just the receipt and they took care of it right away and I got sent a new one. The lady on support, Sarah, was very helpful!! May recommend Jetson to everyone. They work the way everyone would be pleased with! P.S. The scooter itself is really nice!

My son received this for Christmas. He has only been riding it for less than 2 months. The handle bar that locks into place snapped while he was riding it and he took a pretty hard fall. He also has the same exact scooter but Cars themed and had no problems with that one for over a year.

Our kid love this scooter. Very well build and it has nice green LED lights with several flashing patterns! After few months LED lights stopped working, we reached out to the customer service and they replaced it with out giving any issues, it was good to find out Jetson stand behind their products!

I gave this scooter the benefit of the doubt after reading the reviews just because I really liked how it looked. But surely enough dad was putting it together the night before Christmas but bottom of handle did NOT lock into place! My son saw it on Christmas morning and loved it but it had to be returned to the North Pole.

Just like many others, handle bar shaft will not lock in place. I’ve read all the reviews and followed directions, yet it still won’t lock. I contacted customer service over a month ago and haven’t heard back. Seems that some are defective. My son really likes it so I’m disappointed for him. It is a really cute item though, love the lights.

Love this scooter so much. I wish it came in my size lol. Bought 2 for my girls 3 and 6 they loveeee it. They especially love how it lights up .
